A few randoms

Happy anniversary date to us! We went to Firestone for supper and Marble slab for dessert. Like a real date. The ice cream was so fun! felt like a kid in a candy shop. And I ate the while giant thing! Natalie had all the kids sleeping by 8 and said we could stay out as long as we wanted. We were home by 9. I'm just so tired these days!
Uncle Mitchell showing Ben how to ride a bike
He finally figured it out! I can hardly keep him inside now!
Anna moved in to our basement. She is engaged to Chris. For real. That's their names. Arianna is shell shocked every time she sees her. And it is even pronounced Ah-na. My kids always call him Kristoff though.
At a rainy day pancake breakfast
First fries at Costco with papa. He didn't eat any this time though.

Calgary Zoo

We met my aunt Estere and her family at the Zoo one rainy day to celebrate Maartens birthday. The kids had a blast together. Too bad they don't live closer. I'm sure they would be best friends. I was so done by the end. Just tired and sore. But it's for the kids right? It wa a worth it to make some great memories.

Best roar face goes to Arianna!
This completely unflattering photo is for Taylor. Going to the zoo was one of the last fun things we did together as a family and we have a silly photo like this from that visit.

Whoop up days parade

I totally got the wrong times for this one! I thought it started at 11 but it actually started at 10. There was still half hour left when we got there and that was plenty long for this crowd! Auntie Natalie came with us and we caught up with mom and Mitchell at the end. We finished up with some free BBq at Galt Gardens and had lunch with my old French teacher. Small town!

Family Day in Waterton

We only made it to Waterton a couple
Of times this summer. We love it every time we go though. It was perfect weather the day we went. Not windy at all which is a rare occurrence! We hiked Blakiston falls, had picnic at pass creek, went to Cameron lake and went to the park and had ice cream. Exhausting day!

Wicked!

Seems like most things we did this summer were last minute. Luckily we were able to get last minute tickets to Wicked. I was over the moon! Favorite musical! And luckily cousin Kathy could babysit and luckily Elijah took a bottle and wasn't too fussy. Never could have left my other two for that long at his age! The show was spectacular. Loved it. I'm sure I annoyed the people next to us with my squeals and singing along! So glad we were able to make it happen!
