Wow! I am such a slacker when it comes to my blog lately!! But I'm not the only one, I've noticed alot of blogs are being neglected! Is it face book that is taking over or just busy CRAZY life getting in the way??? Well, for me it is just life right now......... trying to survive this mess of a world is stressful and therefore I need to be where I love to be as as much as possible and that is the GYM!! It really does help! I'm thinking of doing another Figure Competition in July........which means longer workouts and serious eating!! We'll see!! Scott is working out now too and has lost 20 lbs.!! I have him eating what I eat and he goes to the gym at least 3 times a week, we workout together at least one of those days......and i usually laugh at him the whole time because of the faces he makes! I don't lift heavy so I don't make faces....so he cant laugh at me...... too bad! I think he should train hard and get ready for a competition........ those tiny speedo suits the guys wear are hot!! HA!! Disturbing really!! Our kids are doing well and are so excited for school to be out! Me on the other hand....... i'm wondering what we are going to do all summer!!

"Soooo.....Embarrassing"..........

OK...... Tyler has been going to the gym with me..... he usually plays basketball with whoever is playing in there at the time! He just jumps right in and totally blends in with all the MEN.....he is only 12!! He is such a big kid!
So...... I was over in the free weight area lifting and I could see Tyler playing from where I was..... so as I was walking over to another machine I was watching him play,.... I wasn't really paying attention around me and all of the sudden....OUCH...i'm about tossed across the room!!!.... I walked right in front of a guy doing leg press, he pushed it right into my hip!! I felt like such an idiot and the guy felt so bad.....It was my fault for not watching where I was walking! So now I have a huge BRUISE on my hip!! SOOOO embarrassing!! I'm not worried about seeing the guy again because I walked away so fast that I didn't really even look up at him, I have no clue what he even looks like!!
I'm gonna have to pay more attention..... I get in my own world when I am working out.... with my music on and everything I have on my mind.... I dont talk to anyone or hardly look at anyone the whole time....it's awesome!! I love it!!

Today we were in the car and Gracey says to me...."mom, when I get to be taller like you, i'm gonna have to change my name because Graceys not a big persons name"......and I said..... "to what?"..... and she says....."Probably Elizabeth or something!!"

It was so funny! I'm not sure where she came up with that name because we don't even know any Elizabeths! Hmmm......... maybe from school???

Oh...... she also told me that she was gonna be "SASSY" when she grew up!! She already is!!!!!!

Have you ever thought about your body this way.....somewhere around the age of 25, the natural process of "building up" that your body has undergone since birth crosses over to a process where degeneration occurs faster than regeneration. Your body starts dying at this point which is why you need to take care of it!!

Eating clean, and getting your cardio AND weights done each day is a must! In order to recreate your body, inside AND out you must eat clean food!!

I know it works because I have done it and I cant believe how much better I feel! I have been eating this way for almost 2 years now and I love it. Try it...... you will be amazed how fast you drop weight and become leaner! You have to take one day at a time and in no time you will not think twice about it. Each week is exciting because your body changes more and more, so dont get overwhelmed if you have alot to lose because you'll be satisfeid at the end of each week!!! Before you know it....you are where you want to be and have created a new lifestyle!!! It's SO possible!! Do it!

Clean foods that I eat....... Chicken, egg whites, turkey patties, lowfat cottage cheese, oatmeal sweetened with a little honey, broccoli, spinach, sweet potato, yams, brown rice, protien shakes,apples, blueberries, strawberries, fat-free yogurt, whole wheat bread, corn tortillas, whole wheat tortillas, etc....

Eat every two to three hours and make sure you have a protien AND a carb with each meal and fruits and green veggies in atleast 2 of them!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!! Happy 2009!!!! Lets be healthier(please workout atleast 30 min. a day, and eat more GREEN veggies ), nicer, more positive , more grateful , happier, and lets have lots of FAITH to get us through the changes that are about to take place in our country!!!! Yikes!! This is where being more positive comes in!! For me atleast.......

Scott and I have always stayed home with our kids on New Years Eve!! In the past we have gone to Sea World, had family and friends over for a party and one year we were in the hospital with Blake after he crashed on an electric scooter with aunt Brooke and had internal bleeding.....that was scary!! Tonight we made it simple and had our own family party.... just the 6 of us! It was fun, we watched a movie, had lots of treats and watched the count down from New York City...... at that point we blew horns, banged on pots and pans, honked our car horn and screamed "Happy New Year"!!! Now it's time for bed!! Good Night!! Lots of pictures will come soon....

Little Models for A Day!!

Presley, Gracey and Addy were asked to model for "Oilily" a new clothing line at Dillards in Fashion Square Mall!! They did awesome and had so much fun! Their favorite part was getting a FREE Webkin for Modeling...... I took a TON of pictures and YES I posted them all, they were too cute to choose which ones to post so I made it easy and posted them ALL........... Gracey Mae!! I love her skin, it's so pretty!!

I wasn't sure HOW she would do or IF she would really even do it and she shocked the heck out if me.......she said her name loud and clear which is usually said very soft and bashful......and stood up there so confident, it was awesome!!

Aunt Brooke came to support her little modeling neices!! They were excited that she came! The more audience the better!!

YOU MUST READ THIS....."Election Day"!! My kids had some interesting conversations at school today.....

OK.... I must say, I'm not happy with what just happened. BUT everyone has their OWN opinion right?? I have mixed feelings and am pretty confused at this point!

My kids came home talking NON-STOP about the Election! Here were some of their comments....(and remember... don't get offended, they are CHILDREN listening to other CHILDREN who listen to their parents and other adults around them!! EVERYONE has their own opinion!!)

Gracey.... "Mom our President can here us too, huh"?(she means....like heavenly father)
Me.... "Uh... No thats only Heavenly Father"!

Presley..... "this kid at school said that if Obama wins, that we all have to smoke"!
Me.... "No thats not true"!!

Blake..... "No, he can't make Mormons smoke"!!
Me....."Who told you this? And where did they here this"?

Poor Gracey......"Mom, is the world gonna end"?
Me.... Unfortunately.... NO!! Just kidding, I didn't say that! I told her "Of course not"!! (at this point I'm wondering why I have my kids in a public school!)

Presley...... "this girl in my class said that Obama lets Doctors kill your baby when it's in your tummy"!
Me..... "Oh my gosh.... who is telling their kid this"? ( Kids should not here things like this)!!

Gracey.... "he can't make the world end, huh"? "He isn't mean huh"? Reassuring herself!
Me.... No he's not mean, and no he can't make the world end!

Gracey..... "if he is mean to us, the cops will get him, huh"!
Me... "he is not going to be mean to us, we will be fine"!!

Tyler just laughed most the time.... he said some kids at school were arguing alittle about who was gonna win, but thats about it!

.....As I am typing these comments, I am wondering.... where do these kids here all of this???? Kids shouln't be worrying about stuff like this!! My kids hear weird stuff at school all the time, but stuff like this?..... what the heck!!

I went to lunch with my sister Stephanie Yesterday and my niece Mary who is 4 yrs. old said to us..."guess what you guys get to do.... you get to vote for a new prophet"!!
...We laughed so hard, it was so funny!

Presley's Baptism Day!

Wow... 3 of our 4 kids are now Baptised! It was a fun day! Presley looked so pretty in ALL white! I can't believe she is already 8 years old! She is such a good Girl and such a huge help to me! She is 8 going on 30! She takes such good care of Gracey and helps her do EVERYTHING! At school.... she makes sure Gracey gets to class.... before making her way to her own class! She is so dang sweet!! We love you Presley!! It was a great day!!

Tyler and Berkley! I know that Berkley is my nephew but I can't believe how cute he is! I love to kiss on him..... and I love that he uaually gets mad at me when I do cuz I over do it! He's such a sweet boy! I talked to him on the phone the other day and I said "do you love me?" and he said "Yeah!" then he paused for a minute and said "and Cot"!(Scott).... it was so cute, I love him so much!! Then there is Tyler...... he is great in every way... A great cousin, a great example, big brother, son, nephew, student, classmate, Grandson, Spirit Leader at school, babysitter and friend!

Most of the cousins....another reason we are SO LUCKY, all our family!! I love everyone of these kids SO much... it's crazy! They love eachother so much and are the best of friends! They get to be with eachother all the time! They are ONE of the reasons that our family needs to stay CLOSE!! When it comes down to it... family is the MOST important thing in the world! Think about it....

I prepared this PINK infested table just for Presley.... when I think of Presley I think PINK.... she was my first little Girl so everything has always been PINK, from the bows I made before she was even born to the hot pink nail polish I carefully put on her tiny toenails and fingernails when she was only a week old! Oh it was so cute! I have created a HIGH MAINTENANCE monster.... but thats ok!

So along with chips and dips I made strawberry jello with HOMEMADE whipping Cream with Hot Pink Sprinkles, homemade brownies, chocolate chip cookies and magic bars! I also ordered Dang cute Pink cupcakes that had edible glitter on them! Oh.... and the PINK ribbon Everywhere was a must!!

Robby was a nice FELLA and brought face paint for the kids!! AND MY WALLS AND COUCH!! It's ok... Scott got to watch me scrub my walls on Sunday so he thanks you Robby!!

I love this picture of Gracey and Scott! After her shoulder ride, Gracey disappeared! There were so many of us that it took awhile to notice that she was gone. Scott ran one direction and I ran another. Everyone spread out to look for her. We were scared to death! Scott called the police and everything! We finally found her, she had ran ahead of us to catch up with Missy. It just isn't like her to run off, she usually sticks right by my side! ALL THE TIME...... So we freaked! That was the end of our trick-or-treating!!
