Well... I am SO sorry for all the blog slacking on my part, since I'm sure there are MANY ;) who care what us Humphreys have been up to. There is actually a lot that has happened since my last entry. I ran a half marathon, had an ectopic pregnancy, and in August we bought our first home!!! That was an exciting step in our life. We are now living in North Salt Lake, UT and are adjusting to our new ward. We love our house and have many plans for it this spring (the yard & exterior paint). We also traded in our 2 questionable vehicles for 1 more dependable one. Bobby has a work truck, so we don't really need more than one car. For Thanksgiving we went to Oregon and visited family. We went bowling, had T & T's bday party- it was a good time. Christmas we stayed here and had some friends over. It was good, but also weird without family. We will probably not be going to Oregon at all in 2012, as we are expecting child #4 at the end of July. We find out at the beginning of March what it is...can't wait! I have been more sick with this baby but I'm through with the 1st trimester and am feeling much more like my normal self.
Now, I know this is all a lot to process at once, and it is just the "major" stuff that has occurred; if I would've been updating this blog all along I could've made this information last a few pages, with more details of course. Keanan is going to start his 3rd round of ice skating lessons next week. The twins are totally potty trained, even at night. They are wild and crazy boys that like to wrestle with big bro and daddy. We got super mario bros for the Wii and if the boys could have it their way they would play it all day. Obsessed much! Bobby is busy with work, scouts, and church basketball. He took a scuba diving course and is very hooked. A few weekends ago we had a little family vacation. We went to Park City, UT and went to Gorgoza Park, this really sweet sledding hill and Keanan tried skiing for the first time too. He did better than expected! We stayed at a bed and breakfast and then the next day went to the Homestead Crater and went swimming in the naturally warm spring water. We also went shopping at the outlet mall. It was a fun get-a-way! On Saturday we got a pet guinea pig. We named him Buddy but Keanan has just decided he wants it to be Scooter. The kids are enjoying him! That is the run down on our life, I hope you enjoy the pictures. I am going to try to update the blog much more frequently!

Hey everyone! I had a request to update the blog, so here goes. Bobby is loving his job at the Union Pacific. He got a new position, based out of Salt Lake City so he's home every night now. We are very grateful for this huge blessing in our lives. We love our ward here, the people are great. Bobby is a youth Sunday school teacher and I am an activity day leader for the older primary girls. The last month we've been very busy "keeping our eye out" in the real estate market. We are in no rush to buy but have looked at quite a few properties. We'll see. I like to go to Gold's gym a lot and run, lift, or party it up with Zumba. It is a blast, if any of you like to dance, try Zumba! I ran a 10k in March and loved it. I play volleyball every Thursday night with some other people, just a pick up game at a nearby church. Bobby plays basketball with some intense b-ballers. Some of them are former NBA players and Bobby is one of the small guys there. You can only play if you're invited, so that's a big compliment to him. Some ladies in my ward have started a produce co-op, which is where this truck drops off all this produce at someone's house and then all the people in the co-op bring a basket and pick up the produce (which has been divided equally between all the members). The produce is the same price that the grocery stores buy it, so it is a great deal. I love it! Our ward had an Iron Chef competition and I won the rice category for best appearance. I made a rice pudding dish with caramel drizzled over the top...it was a lot of fun. OH, Bobby and I got to go to the Sunday afternoon general conference. It was really fun to see the apostles interact with each other and to just see them live. Keanan is very busy this month, he has swim lessons and soccer. He enjoys swim except that he gets cold and shivers through most of it. He's only had 2 games of soccer and no practices so he is still learning, but he improved a ton just from the 1st game to the 2nd game. He is a bit of an over achiever (wonder where he gets that?) because he gets really sad if he gets close to the goal but doesn't score. I keep telling him that he did a good job and that it's just for fun. He takes it WAY too seriously for a four year old!!! LOL. Today he scored his first goal ever, too bad it was for the other team! :) Other than that, we stay busy by potty training (sorry about all the nudy pictures but that is just the reality right now,) going to the children's museum, parks, the library, whatever we can find to do! We are having a great time, but we do miss our family back in Oregon!

December 2010
December 2010 has been a busy time for us! This twins turned 2 on Dec. 17, but we had their party early in the month so the Oregon family could be there. I made a train cake for them and they had a blast! They are potty training and doing very well. I think having twins actually helps in this case because when one does something, the other one wants to as well. I can't wait for the day of NO MORE DIAPERS!!!
The move from Pilot Rock, OR to Bountiful, UT went smooth. The roads were clear and the kids were surprisingly well behaved! My mother-in-law Julie came with my and the kids and I'm so glad for her help. I don't know how I would've done it by myself. Bob drove the moving truck a few hours behind us. After we got to our new home and unpacked like mad men (3 days to be totally settled in and have xmas lights, tree, and decor up) we went to relax a little. We went to this really awesome restaurant and then went to temple square. We had a great time and I got some neat pictures.
Bob is gone for his 8 day work week so the kids and I are trying to get used to Bountiful and I'm trying to figure out things for us to do to keep us busy. I joined Gold's Gym and am loving it! They have theaters to work out in; quite a step up from Pendleton's gym. We like Bountiful so far, but hope we can meet some friends soon. Here are some pictures of December.

The Past Year
It has been over a year since I last posted to our blog. Time flies by, doesn't it!!! I guess I'll start with our biggest news. We are moving to Bountiful, UT on Dec. 10th. We are very excited for this new adventure but will miss being close to family.
Bobby is working for the Union Pacific Railroad now and loves it! We are closing the hardwood flooring business and selling all of the equipment/truck/trailer. Bobby is very happy to be done with the business and the stress it causes! With the railroad, he works 8 days (away, wherever they are working, and stays in a hotel) and then gets to be home for 6 days with us. He plans on applying for any & all maintenance positions that come available in the area so he can have a more regular schedule that allows him to home every night and to work in the area instead of traveling to the job site. Hopefully that will happen in the next year!
I can't believe the twins will be two years old on Dec. 17th! I guess I shouldn't call them "babies" anymore. They are busy little guys, but so much fun. I feel blessed to experience the novelty of twins.
Keanan's personality is blooming; he is a fun guy to be around. He is attending part-time preschool here in Pilot Rock and loves it. Hopefully that will continue when we get to Bountiful.
As for me, I am staying busy being a stay at home momma to 3 and wife to 1. I can't wait to have more do to at our new place. PR can get pretty boring, especially since I'm 20 minutes away from everything. I hope to get into running again and do some runs there in the Salt Lake area. I hope to find lots of fun things for my kids to do in Bountiful. I hope to find some good friends there. I am ecstatic to be SO close to many beautiful temples...I love going to the temple!
Here are some pictures to help capture the last year:

Update
It has been a long time since I've posted to our blog, so here is a little update. The twins are eating a ton of real food; crawling (since 6 mo. old) and are currently almost 8 mo. old. They are pulling themselves up onto things and getting ready to cruise. Keanan turned 3 in July and is working on potty training. It is officially the WORST! He does good for a while, and then totally regresses.
In June Bob had to go to Portland to get some wood for a job, so we decided to make it a family trip and take Keanan to the zoo for the first time. He had a blast and it was a nice little family get-a-way. We are moving to Pilot Rock, OR in September and so we are busy doing updates to the house and getting ready to move. We are moving to a house on Bobby's family farm next to his parents and grandma. In July my bro and his family came to visit from Missouri and it was great to see them. Unfortunately I didn't get pics while they were here...too busy taking care of 2 babies I guess :( Here are some photos to capture the last few months!

Proof of the Madness
Finally I have a picture to give you all an idea of how crazy Keanan is. This was the day after he got in a brawl with his cousin Deacon, which ended with Deacon chomping on Keanan's eye. His eye was so swollen it was hardly even open. Keanan is such a sweet boy but he has got more energy than the squirrel on over-the-hedge. He tends to be real aggressive and not passive at all. Finally he got what he's been dishing out all along (aka, what he deserved)!

Slacking
OK, so it's been 3 months since my last post; sorry I'm such a slacker. In my defense, I have been really busy caring for 3-month-old twins and a toddler. AND...I was admitted to the hospital in the middle of February for appendicitis, so that set me back a bit. But things have been going pretty good for the Humphreys. The twins are growing a lot- Triston (who was smaller @ birth) has caught up to his bro Trenton. We are all excited to get out and play as this spring weather approaches! Here are the latest pics of the boys.
