Jed the Dog

Jed thinks he is human.  Sometimes it is funny, but most of the time it is flipping annoying.  If he doesn't think he is human, then he thinks he is a lap dog. He is a really great dog, don't get me wrong, but man when he starts being obnoxious, watch out he is worse than a kid.  He loves attention and if you don't give him enough he will be up in your grill ALL THE TIME.  He puts his wet nose on you ALL THE TIME.  He nudges your arm or hand with his wet nose so you will pet him ALL THE TIME.  He follows us everywhere, he wants to ride in the car every chance he gets, if he doesn't get a walk in every day he is a lunatic.  He also likes to steal stuffed animals and socks and hides them under his bed.

Despite all his weird quirks, he is part of our family and we do love him.  The kids are OBSESSED with him and every night he sleeps on the floor by Parker's bed and Parker thinks it is the best thing in the world.  He lets Hannah and Ava put dress up clothes on him and jewelry and he just sits there.  He lets me lay on him like a pillow.  He lets kids wrestle with him, pull his eyebrows, ears and fur.  I guess he is a pretty great dog, so I guess we will keep him. :)

Jamers

This is James aka "Jamers" our sweet nephew.  He had to wear this really cool helmet for several months to help shape his head.  He looked so stinkin' cute in it.  We would always say that he was born to wear a helmet.

Play Time

May 25th, 2012:

The weather is getting warmer, yay!  We headed out for a bike ride on the river trail. 

 Parker and his friend Spencer want to be wilderness men or something.  They are obsessed with the river, with finding snakes and they are determined to find some wild animal.

 This girl loves the bike trailer.  She calls it, "her ride."

 I finally got them out of the rocks and bushes, so I could take a picture of them. 

 Ava is pretty obsessed with Hannah. She has to be near her at ALL times.  Good thing Hannah loves her to pieces and is a great big sister.  They are best friends, but man these two can fight!  So don't let their sweet smiles fool you, these two are tough girlies!

 Miss Hannah is more confident on her bike this year and she is loving riding every where.

 When we got back from our walk we busted out the bubble machine Ava got for her birthday.  She was loving it.  I didn't get a picture, but instead of using her hands to pop the bubbles, she was using her mouth. Gross.

Then the girls had a dance party on the trampoline.  Which I am sure is not going to be the first dance party that happens this summer.

Carter's Preschool Graduation

On May 24th, 2012 we went to Carter's Preschool Graduation.  He did a great job and he was so excited when he saw us all sitting out in the audience.  We were all impressed with his mad singing skills.  He was quite the performer.  We are so proud of you Carter Boy!

Love this boy.  We are so excited for you to be in Elementary School next year buddy!  Congrats on doing so great in Preschool, you are one awesome kid and we love you tons and tons!

Jake & Ava's Birthday Shin Dig

On May 22, 2012 we had a combined birthday party for Ava and her friend Jake.  They have the same birthday.  We invited a ton of kids, played games, made a craft and had minion cupcakes. The kids had a blast!

Miss Ava was in heaven, having all her friends there.  Plus there was stickers, so she was one happy little girl.

 The kids made marshmallow shooters.  Which was 1/2 success, you had to position the marshmallow just right and pull back the balloon just right.  Kind of annoying.
