Little Things...

Having children has opened our eyes to many things (i.e., ear infections, sleep deprivation, snuggle time, singing time, being silly, potty training). We have noticed lately, though, that it seems it's always the small things that bring the biggest smiles. Case in point...

the kids have character towels, but both of them love the frog one the better. So after bath time, it is usually a sad time for one of them who doesn't get the frog but who gets the snowman! So, finally, I purchased them new ones and let them pick out their characters. Brittany wanted the ladybug and Michael wanted the monster (yes, it's a monster).

They were thrilled and just had to play with them upon returning home yesterday....see...it's the little things...look at those smiles!

Where's the Snow?!

Last weekend, we receive more snow...or at least we had the "threat" of snow. The weather forecasters were expecting snow as low as 500 feet; since we are at 3,000 we thought we would have more white stuff to play in. With that said, yes, we did get snow, but not in our front yard! There was a lot of snow on the mountains and foothills; it just never made it down to our yard!

These are pictures of Brittany & Michael watching flurries and hoping to receive a lot of snow "to play in and make snow angels in"...oh well, there's always next year.
