Christmas seemed jam packed full of stuff. I had all the Christmas shopping done by end of November so it was stressful that way but felt busy. It was nice and we did some stuff but I am loving this January feeling like there's not much planned for scheduled. Anyways here is our December through photos.

This boy has taken up an interest in math without me pushing this in anyway. Talia made a test for him. What gets me is he does it all in his head. No fingers or anything. He really just loves numbers. It goes to show kids are all different and even if we push push and push they will learn at their own pace. I always felt like I never taught him well enough. Second kid, less attention as a toddler. But I am amazed at how he is picking it up and pushing himself.
Ok this is worth talking about. One of these kids is not like the other... Penny's excitement to the see Santa this year was out of control. I just love seeing Christmas through her eyes. She had been planning for a few days what she was going to wear to see him, and really hoping he'd love it. I couldn't tell her no. So she wore her cape, a shell necklace, pink mast, and a santa hat. I'm sure he loved it, we sure did.
Talia made us dinner one night. She brings home recipe books from school and well I am learning to let go a bit and let them try a few things. Children really do help us grow more than we help them.

My new sanctuary (well not new but since about april 2016) has been my basement room with my workout stuff in there. As long as I'm not on the treadmill this little guy is allowed in. And the kids move in and out. It's good they see me moving and loving becoming stronger. Sometimes I need my space but usually we have a dance party to one of the songs. This little guy parks it wherever he wants.
We did dance for a semester. Got it out of her system. She sure loved it. I thought it was cute... but I'm also glad this January that we are done with one less activity.

Every December my parents have a cousin/grandkid sleep over. My mom puts so much effort into this. So many crafts, activities, and a movie. Kids look forward to it all the time. Although they don't have a lack of time and sleepovers throughout the year at Nana and Grandpas, this on is just special because it's Christmas themed.
They did mini gingerbread houses
The 3 year olds finally potty trained and can join in the fun this year. That white blanky has already lost it's first layer... not sure how long it will last.
This year they got their own Christmas tree. It came with decorations, a story on how Santa worships Christ and celebrates his birth. Very cute
We often go to my parents house for Sunday dinner and one day I looked over and this girly had a new hair do hahaha. My Penny, she's funny!

Ok so our neighbors exchange a Christmas treat in December sometime. We give sweet break. And well this year we got this. Our was hardly a fair trade. I could have ate all of these. It was AMAZING!!!! This year I want to try and get them to teach me how to make these.

Talia started basketball this year. Love watching her play and I love that our kids are getting old enough to play sports.
Went to see candycane lane this year. It was a great night for it. Not to cold.
Now it wasn't a year for Pizzey Christmas so we usually have our Christmas earlier. Talia play her piano piece. I've been very proud of her with her determination to practice and play. Never complains about practicing. She just needs to believe in herself more.
