Carter 2nd Annual Camping Trip

Our 2nd year gathering up near the Green River.  This year I gave the kids camo fanny packs packed with candy bars.

We were about the only campers that didn't see a hungry bear walk through our campground each day. We did see this dog being walked and so we called it our "bear citing."

 Grandma and Grandpa came up for the day.  Truth be told it rained for most of our trip, but we still managed to have a great time.

 Todd took each family on their own little jeep excursion.

 Carter pointed out a squirrel way up high.  Tanner took aim and shot and killed him seconds later. He could totally survive Hunger Games.

 Tanner didn't feel too guilty about the kill, but for the next few days Carter felt completely guilty about pointing him out to Tanner.

Camp Dick

 Another camp site that we camped at a few times is called Camp Dick, about 2 hours away.

 We love our banana boats.  We started with putting chocolate chips and have moved on to cookie dough.

This was the first time bringing the bikes which the kids really enjoyed.

We did a lot of camping this summer.

 

 The water was freezing, but Cali could keep her feet in forever.

 We jeeped in a few hours to this back country.  Beautiful!

Not to mention that the Jeep took one for the team.  Let's just say we were grateful for the scratch plate underneath,because it is definitely scratched.

 

 

While we were on the mountain camping we came out to the road and watched a professional bike race.  The bulk of the cyclyst wizzed by in a matter of like 60 seconds.  Lots of support cars and TV camera crews on motorcycles. Very exciting!

 

 We have a few lakes literally within a 1 mile radius of our house.  Todd took the kids out a few nights a week after work to take in some fishing and some picturesque views.
