Back in the saddle again
I just got on our blog and am embarassed to see just how long it has been. Life has been crazy busy for us with having Isabella and just keeping up with everyones schedules. I've also been procrastinating doing the whole blog thing again because I don't even know where to start. So rather than get overwhelmed trying to get caught up, I will just post from here on out. Just know that we are all doin swell and are happy. I will try to do better at it. I'm still horrible at taking pictures, even with having a new baby. To make things worse, our computer crashed. Wishing now that I would have blogged more so that the pictures I did take I would at least have somewhere. I did have this pic of us at DisneyWorld for my 30th and since that is the happiest place on earth, I though I'd post it. And there you have it...my first post in like 9 months.

Utah Time
I've been slackin on the blog, as usual, so here is something we've done in the last month. Josh had to go to Vegas and work for the week so we decided last minute to fly up to UT and hang out. It worked out perfect because Isaac really wanted to go to BYU's football camp with his cousin. We had a great time seeing both grandmas, and just being able to let the kids play with their cousins. We packed in a lot of activities and my kids loved every second of if. The highlight of the week was being able to go through the Oquirrh MT temple openhouse with my kids and having them say that it was their favorite thing that we did. We missed not having Josh with us, but had ourselves a really awesome week. Thank you to everyone for putting up with us, driving us around, and helping me out. You gave us a great "summer" memory!

Some Serious Updating!!
In looking at my blog, I realize that so much has gone on since my last post. Here is a quick update since I only have access to Josh's laptop and can't upload any pictures. We found out on March 9th that Josh got a transfer with his job to Texas. We were excited because we had been praying about it and felt really good about it. It's a bigger district and has less travel which is something we had been really wanting. So we left that day and headed to UT to drop off Ash and Isaac. We also had to hurry and find a car and buy it so Josh would have one to take to TX since he totaled his other one. So we took Easton and flew off to TX to search for a house. We had 3 days, but ended up finding one that we really liked. We flew back to UT, picked up the kids and drove home to MT. Josh then left for TX the next day. We were apart for a month and then drove down to meet him. We have then been living in a hotel for a month but just barely moved into our house. What a relief!! So we are enjoying it, loving the warm weather and all the yummy food. Although, after eating out for a month straight for every meal, it's been kind of fun cooking again. We've been meeting some people and that always helps. The kids are already making friends and heading off to birthday parties (a good sign for them). So, I feel like even though it's been very stressful the past few months, we have been EXTREMELY blessed and I am so grateful for that!
Now, I just have to say how much I love my friends in Montana and how grateful I am for them. Thank you for all the going away parties, dinners, gifts, girls nights, and just being there for me while Josh was gone. I felt my prayers answered by all the kind deeds that were done for us (shoveling us out of the blizzard, bringing us meals, babysitting, helping me with "man jobs", cleaning the house, and so much more!) But most importantly, just being there for me. You are all irreplaceable and I love you and will miss you so much. Who knew that Montana would be such a blessing for us. It's been an emotional time for me (surprise, surprise), but I feel good about this new venture for our family. It is hard to close this chapter in our lives. Well, that's all for now. I should probably start getting through these boxes.

The Greatest Day Of The Year!!
It was that magical time of year again- MY BIRTHDAY!!! I don't know why, but I absolutely love this day!! And it's not because of gifts or anything like that (although I never turn them down) :-) I just love the excitement of it and feeling special. This year did not disappoint. I had a great day of doing my favorite thing- going out to eat for all my meals. My fabulous friends took me out for lunch and I got some really thoughtful gifts. After lunch Josh and I went shopping- another of my favorite things. After boy scouts, the kids and I went and rode the carousel. We then picked up Josh and went to dinner. It was a fun weekend with games, guitar hero and hanging out. It was hard to see it end. Thank you to everyone who texted, called or sent a card. I felt most grateful this year to have Josh home and safe since he had rolled his car several times and then crashed 2 days before. *Remember to always tell your hubby you love him! I felt sick inside when we couldn't find him.

Getting Caught Up
So I'm so behind in blogging. I'm almost tempted to say "the last month has been great", and be done. But, I know when I look back on this I'll wish I wrote more. So, we had a wonderful christmas, and had a blast having my family up. The time went by so fast, but we appreciated their efforts in coming, bad weather and all. (Sorry about the 12 hr trip again mom). Josh and I celebrated an anniversary and true to every year said "next year we'll do something big". :] We had a blast on New Year's partying with friends and their kids. The best part was Josh making everyone watch his illegal fireworks. The kids and I got in the truck to watch them, not because it was like 20 below, but because of Josh's track record with fireworks. We did a lot of sledding, eating, reading, movie watching, playing of games and even a few projects in the house. I'd have to say that it was one of the best and most relaxing times ever. The best gift was having Josh home for most of those 2 weeks. Now, I"m so OVER winter and am ready for some sunshine!! Or at least my birthday to hurry up and get here. :)
