2011 I'm glad its over
2012 holds so much promise, a new year, a new beginning
I like the sound of it
I'm not making any actual new years resolutions, more a list of dreams, hopes, possibilities
My Dreams for 2012
Lose those pesky few kilos that have been hanging around for the past 4 years - i know i can achieve this one, I've done it before, its a matter of committing 100% and making it happen
Do some form of exercise on most days {in addition to my normal day to day activity}
Some ideas: Walk Riley to kinder, walk our dog at dusk {my favourite time of the day to get out and walk}
20/30 minutes on the treadmill {if the weather is bad}
Swim a few laps in the pool
Make/bake from scratch - healthier & cheaper
Read to Riley each night before bedtime - this is something i haven't been doing much of late - he loves being read to - i just need to make it part of his nightly routine
learn a new craft - I've always wanted to crochet so will try and teach myself via YouTube
Organise the house - tidy cupboards, giveaway, sell things we don't need or use - aim for less clutter
Visit a health resort {dream}
This
place sounds perfect
Start to really live again - i think i can be excused from 2011 - its been a year of heartbreak of the worst kind imaginable. I know i will never get over losing Amy but i know she would want me to be happy & to enjoy life.
I think on the top of Riley's list would be to go out for more milkshakes with Mum & Dad!
