Game, Birthday

We got to go to the BYU game at the Energy Solutions Arena with Griff and Lar. Who knew...the Andersons were in town for Christmas and we saw Nate and his brother there too! Small little UT we live in. Fun to see them do so well, and of course winning is the best. We went to Tucanos afterwards...never been there before but it was delish! 

And it was Cambie's birthday! Beef tomato chow yuk and ice cream cake. Perfection. Love you Cam!

Surprise!

Well, a super surprising and happy day for Cambria and all of us too. A few days after Christmas Cambie had us all over and opened her mission call. She is going to Bacolod, Phillipines. Leaves February 13th. Gonna miss her like mad, but so excited for this experience for her and those she will come in contact with. 

Also pretty cool that Cambie and Ryan will share the same mission!

Christmas

Must have been my lucky year...cause I didn't have to work Christmas either! It was such a relaxing and enjoyable day. It is so fun to see our little guys be so excited and love what they get. Of course Christmas is such a special time apart from all of these things. How blest we feel, and so happy to know what we do. 

We went to the Bitters for Christmas dinner and exchanging presents. Our family is growing constantly it seems, and we just love it. Chris, Channing, and Mayci are the newest members and we were so happy to have them there with us. 

Having some fun with new presents! I remember my older brother Ryan getting this for Christmas when I was about 3. So fun to see Da and Jo play with it now.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve 'feast' at the the Johnsons was wonderful. Evonne always does an amazing job...the  beautiful spread, christmas dishes, candles, and of course having all of our family there makes it such a special time. (We missed you Ben, LeighAnn, and Katelynn!) I love that we have the grandkids act out the nativity story. I have such fun memories of doing a live nativity when I was young. Damon was so excited that he got to be Joseph this year :)

So, my sweet hubby is pretty sneaky! When we walked in from our Christmas eve party at his parents, he surprised me with a brand spanking new dinning room table. It is so awesome. Rustic, beautiful, worn, I just love it. Best thing of all is that Kyle and his dad made it. Hours and hours of work. I just thought they liked hanging out together. Pictures don't do it justice. It truly is perfect.

Hard to believe it has been 7 years, but I also can't really remember living without him. So grateful for my sweet love. 

Today was also pretty special because my new little niece Mayci was born! She came into this world with a bang, but is healthy and happy and absolutely beautiful. So happy for our Johnson family! Congrats, we love you all!

The Verdict

We had an ultrasound and found out that we are changing things up a bit. One of us is not too happy about it at the moment, but I am sure he will come around :) Yay for evening out the girls!

Update: Halli's finger was reattached and is doing great! We feel so grateful and blest.

Yay for book clubs! So excited to be hanging out with these cute girlies.

The Andersons came from NE for Thanksgiving, and we met them and the Osmonds in Salt Lake for dinner and games. I love that we get to see each other still, such a blessing that at least our families live closer together. Crazy to see how all of our boys are growing...and yes we all have boys. Five little crazies that we love to pieces.

Thanksgiving

It was awesome! Surprisingly I was not scheduled to work which made it super nice. Kyle's family went to St. George to spend Thanksgiving with his mom's side, and they got to see Ben and LeighAnn too! We went to my parents house and had a delicious 'feast' (as Damon would say)...

We finally got in to see the doctor and were so happy to finally be able to tell everyone that we are expecting a new little one in April. Four months along.

Accident

Sweet Halli had an accident. A bike chain caught her finger and cut it off. She is at Primary Children's having surgery to try and recover it. Sweet little girl is in our prayers...

I got a job. Ortho/Spine floor. Start on Tuesday...
