Thai Turkey Pizza
recipe adapted from Budget Bytes
pizza dough (not pictured)
For the sauce:
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4cup hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp. siracha
1 inch fresh, grated ginger
1/4 tsp of fresh garlic
1/4 cup hot water
For the toppings:
1 medium to large turkey breast (cooked and cubed)
1 - 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 small green bell pepper, sliced
2 green onions, sliced
More toppings after pizza is cooked:
chopped parsley
chopped peanuts
Parmesan cheese
remaining peanut sauce (thin it out with more water)
sweet chili sauce (not pictured)
You can use whatever pizza dough recipe you would like. The original recipe from Budget Bytes calls for naan bread but I chose to use this recipe to make a quick pizza dough from Sugar Dish Me.
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.

Make the dough.
Make the sauce.
Roll out the dough.
Spread the sauce.
Put on the toppings.
Bake the pizza for 15 minutes.
Top with chopped peanuts, parsley, Parmesan cheese, remaining peanut sauce, and sweet chili sauce.
Cut and EAT!
Now isn't that something different for Thanksgiving leftovers?!
