Brandon's girlfriend Sarah's mom is a balloon artist and likes to send over different balloon creations.

WE love the rain!

Living in Arizona you don't get rain very often, so when we do we take full advantage! The girls were so excited!

Thru the month of August and September Nick was working up in Idaho for my dad's company. He was able to come home every other weekend and we were able to go out for our Anniversary. One of our very favorite places to eat but we only go there every other year is ..... The Melting Pot! It is so good! My parents watched the girls while we went out and had a great time!

Since Nick wasn't able to be there on our actual anniversary he sent me a dozen chocolate strawberries! So yummy!

I love him more and more each day and I'm so thankful to be married to my best friend!

First day of Kindergarten

Kairi is officially in Kindergarten!! WOW! Where has the time gone? She is going to a charter school called Athlos Traditional Academy. We have a lot of good schools in our area but I really wanted her to go half day and none of the public schools do that. At Athlos they do the Pledge of Allegiance every morning and have a moment of silence. I love that they have instill in the kids a love of country. They wear uniforms, love that I don't have to think about what she is going to wear for the day. She loves school and is making great friends, with all the boys. She told me that it is okay to have two boyfriends. HAHAHA She likes this boy named Eddie and the other day when I was dropping her off and boy came over and told me that he was her boyfriend and his name is Noah. What to do when all the boys want you!

Thankfully I didn't sob on the first day! (Even though I wanted to) She looks so big and was so excited to learn!

Summer wrap up

We had a great summer!! Swimming, spending time with cousins, going to the park and LOTS AND LOTS OF PLAYING!!

Olympics 2012

We LOVE the Olympics! We always throw an opening ceremonies party and stay up way to late watching every sport. (Nick checks the results online earlier in the day and pretends like he doesn't know).

Kairi and the tooth fairy

For a couple months now Kairi and Penelope have been very eager to lose a tooth. Because they wanted the tooth fairy to come visit them and give them money. So the day that Kairi found out that one of her teeth were loose was a very happy day. But that tooth would not come out for anything. She tried everything and then finally ate an apple and KAPOW, out came the tooth! She was so excited! I can't believe she is big enough to losing teeth!

Potty Trained Penelope

Penelope has officially been potty trained! Before Elena was born she wanted to sit on the potty all the time, but wouldn't go. Finally I decided now was the time before Kairi started school. So we set aside a whole week and she still refused to go. She was going #1 really well but there came a point where she hadn't gone #2 in a few days. We started filling her full of fiber and fruit, and still nothing. Nick kept referring to her as a ticking time bomb! We were a little on edge. Finally she went and so we had a potty party! We went to McDonald's and got ice cream cones and she got a My Little Pony!
