New Job

At the beginning of the summer I put in applications at about every restaurant in town, well the ones I would consider working at anyways.....I waited a few weeks and didn't hear back from any of them.

SO I decided to put an add up on craigslist to do housecleaning.....which is odd because I hate to clean my own house! but suprisingly its not as bad when its someone elses house.....I got a response right away....then I kept getting more and more people! YAY! I currently have 5 clients and counting...

Then a week ago I got a call for an interview at Silver Star Steakhouse.....I made it past the first interview and made it past the second interview...I am now in training!

For now I will still clean houses for my clients until I become a Regular Server, but until then I will be one busy bee!

Much needed update

I know its been a long time since I've updated my blog, but we've been busy......Just when I think things will slow down, they speed back up again!

Quora now is an eating machine! She loves almost everything besides peaches...Sweet potatoes are one of her favorites along with Green Beans :)




Kieona our new puppy "diesel" and a naked zaiden...
I started REALLY potty training him on Sunday he does a great job as long as he's not wearing underwear or shorts, otherwise he cant get his clothes off fast enough to go potty....but hey whatever works right now!

Our new puppy "diesel" He is 9 weeks old and 1/2 Red Heeler, and 1/2 American Bulldog, the kids LOVE him :)

This is great for the people who don't like to do laundry, no clothes=no laundry! LOVE IT!

A couple weekends ago at Kirby's parents house

4th of July camping at Ennis lake...I think we counted 9 or 10 campers and about the same amount of tents.....so about 50ish people and about 20 dogs! It was crazy but fun

Basement Flooding

So that picture of all the snow in a previous Blog entry, the help of some rain, and the help of a neighboring property's irrigation ditch that was rerouted to come straight to our house managed to flood our basement.....

Oh sometimes I wish I wasn't a homeowner! It would of been so nice to have a landlord to deal with all of this....

However, we noticed the water leaking in right away, so we were able to get the upperhand and hopefully most of our pergo is salvageable, and we happen to have a couple extra boxes of flooring, Thank goodness!

You know this wouldn't of been as bad if the flooring had been down for years and needed replaced, but it was brand spanking new! like maybe 9 months old! GrrrrRRR, kind of discouraging......

We immediately began pulling up our pergo floor to begin drying it out so we can hopefully(keep your fingers crossed) re-use it!

This picture is kind of hard to tell whats going on, but you can sorta see some water pooled up on the top of the picture...this is our Underlayment for the pergo flooring

The part that really makes me mad is the fact that our insurance won't cover any costs to the property of our house....I know they won't cover structural problems but this qualifies as an "act of God" or at least to me it does.....Seriously whats the point of insurance? Ok enough ranting for now.....

Hopefully this coming weekend we will get our Pergo flooring re-laid, then we can get all of the stuff that was in the living area down there out of what will be Kieona's bedroom, Lay her Carpet and set her room up so she can have her own room....Finally!

I know, I know, its early for food....but she just loves it! And she is ready for it, she has pretty much lost the elimination reflex, she can sit up for long periods of time...blah blah blah

I registered Kieona For kindgarten a few weeks ago.....Makes me sad to think I have a kid old enough for school, but boy am I glad to have her there all day every day next fall :)

Quora 3 Months old

This picture was taken last night, she is now 4 months old, and can roll from her tummy to back and from back to tummy with no problem....and she is also working on getting those knees underneath her, wont be long before she's crawling!

We got 10 inches of snow on March 30th! More snow than we've had all winter

Zaiden's Second Birthday!

I know its been a long time since I blogged! I've been busy, I promise! So sit back and take a look at what we've been up to.

Zaiden Celebrated his 2nd birthday on March 28th!

Spring time? Maybe so

MT Heat Wave....Friday it was 63 degrees! I was sooo excited, I was thinking spring was on its way, well until I woke up this morning to snow! Bleck! Oh well Spring has to come sometime right?

Oh and yard was a huge mucky muddy mess! Kieona and Zaiden were jumping from mud puddle to mud puddle......However kieona's irrigation boots got suctioned down into the mud at one point and she was trying to pull her self out so hard that she fell on her butt, right into the mud! :) then on another occasion she went jumpin up and down in another puddle and jumped right out of both her boots and landed in the mud in her socks, she wasn't too impressed but well I got a good chuckle out of it.....I love being outside in the mud with out shoes on, I don't know where my kids got the idea that its bad to be out in just barefeet.....
