Sorry We Have Been Gone So Long

I thought it might be time to make a new post. It has been too long to write about everything that has been going on, so I thought I would just post some pictures of the recent months, to let our family and friends see how much our little kiddos have grown.

Campbell turned 2 in April and Carson is two days shy of being 9 months old. Campbell is a ball of energy all of the time and Carson is learning to interact with her high energy ways. He has 6 teeth now and is doing much better with his reflux, but still dealing with the milk allergy. They are sooo cute together and love each other to death. I hope it stays that way for a little while, but I know in time, the competition will get intense.

We will try not to take so long between posts, but I can't promise anything.

Introducing Carson Finn Loiseau

Carson Finn Loiseau was born on October 21, 2009 at 7:56 pm. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 5.3 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. He could not decide if he was ready to be her or not, but he eventually decided it was worth it to enter the world. More pictures will come. Campbell is doing great and adjusting to life with a new baby in the house. The first couple of days were challenging, but she is getting used to the idea of having a baby brother. She is very sweet to him and always wants to give him kisses.

Little Boy Loiseau is Almost Here!!

Hello All... Again, I apologize for taking so long in between posts. I know many of you enjoy the blog simply for updated pictures. Little boy Loiseau is almost here. I will be induced on Wednesday, October 21st unless he decides to make his appearance sooner. We almost have his room finished. At this point, all we need to do is hang the curtains, hang the mirror, get a matress, and clean. That sounds like a lot, but in the grand scheme of things it is very little.

I finished my job last Friday, and am taking the next week and a half to try to finish getting everything ready. I have been making lots of trips to Target and Babies R Us lately. Campbell is still in school, but only part-time for now. She absolutely loves school and always has good reports. She is so smart.
Since our last post, a lot has happened. Aside from me being 38.5 weeks pregnant, we have done a lot over the last few months. Gene, Campbell and I took a family vacation with GoGo and Umpy to Destin, FL, which was Campbell's first big road trip and trip to the beach. She did so well in the car, and absolutely LOVED the beach. I thought she would be terrified of the ocean, but that was the only place she wanted to be. She loved sitting in the sand right where the water hits you and playing with her toys. She also had a blast in the ocean with either Daddy or GoGo. Umpy and GoGo were brave souls a couple of weeks ago and took Campbell to Disney on Ice. Gene and I thought she would not make it more than 30 minutes before getting so ancy she had a breakdown, but to our surprise, she did amazingly well. We found out she was glued to the show for the first half and then ended up falling asleep about the last 15 minutes. We were glad to hear she did so well and had so much fun. Last weekend, Gene and I took Campbell to Gentry's Farm to pick out a pumpkin. She had fun, even though she had no idea what was going on. She did pick out 3 pumpkins for a grand total of $3.00.

On a final note, we will keep everyone posted on the arrival of little boy Loiseau. He has a name, but you will have to wait until he is here to find out. We know that is annoying, but we have to keep something a surprise. Please look for an update in a couple of weeks.
