20 Pounds!!!

Since leaving New York in Feb, I have lost 20 pounds. WOW. I'm so excited that none of my clothes fit, which kinda stinks but hey who cares. So who knew a little exercise and eating healthy would do someone some good. haha. now the only thing is too keep up with it, and let me tell you how hard it is to eat veggies. ugh...and not eat soo much breads....

Addictions

So I am kinda addicted to these two shows....Gilmore Girls and Chuck. They are total opposite but they are both incredibly hilarious. One you got mother daughter bonding, fighting and all of those crazy and quirky town folk. The other a nerd who works at the Buy More who got roped into the CIA because he has a computer for a brain....I'm just saying if you haven't had the chance to check them out just watch one episode and I hope you don't get hooked because then it because a problem....I must admit Chuck is a little more entertaining...you got action, comedy, romance, and a bunch of nerds!!! (really what could be better???)

I got a new job!!!

So I recently got a new job...and I love it! I work at a small bakery in Beaumont, I do whatever they need me to do. I wash dishes and take cake orders and answer phone and eat all the free cookies I want...I don't really eat very many. and I'm going to get to be able to frost cakes very soon. yea! So the decorators work on pink titles since they are women and the rest of the title is brown that the men work on....and yes I work on the brown title. So the fellow I work with insisted on giving me a masculine nick name so now he calls me Mel.

One great day.

Well the title may be a little sarcastic, but I didn't really feel very well this morning. My 7 year old nephew came over to me and said "Mallory do you have the chicken pox?" and I replied "No why do you want to know.?" He then said "because you have all those red dots on your face." Then I looked at him and said " Marlon those are called pimples." and then he laugh.... And recently my 5 yr old niece Logan has been asking me if I was pregnant...So I'm thinking that I need to go on a diet and exercise more...oh wait maybe I need to start exercising. hmmm. To finish off my happy post. My mother has adopted a bunny and the stupid thing peed all over me today. YEA!

Transition

So I was working as a nanny in New York for the past 6 or 7 months, and now I have decided to make another change in my life. So here I am, once again, deep in the heart of Texas, pondering the next step in my life. and Well I haven't got a clue to be honest with ya. I spent the past two weeks with my lovely aunt and uncle and their 5 children in Rhode Island. It was quite enjoyable. We visited many museums and I learned a lot about there state history ( more than I know about my own...oops). I loved spending time with my cousins, who are adorable. I had many laughs with them and miss them mucho much. I have to say I love the East Coast. Winters are a bit chilly, or you could say bitter cold if you wanted. But the cities and the towns are great! So much history, and I love it. Anyways so I kinda spent a two week period in limbo....because I didn't really have to work or have any responsibilities. Kinda just a pause in the whole transition stage. I'm not gonna lie it was nice..to really have a break. And now real life starts again. So I will start the search for a part time job the fill in the extra hours that I won't be helping my parents...and pondering ideas for a new career.....or adventure.
