Tech Deck heaven

What have we been doing lately?  A little bit of this and that, and some Tech ramp creations....  It was super fun for me...I mean for them.  McKay actually did his on his own, and I did Brahm's and helped Emerson.  Here they are all together and the boys are set!

I'm a Jerk...

So, Brahm turned 5 in November and I totally forgot to blog it. I'm a jerk, I know. Luckily he doesn't regularly read this blog so he doesn't know. Shhh...

Rick and the older boys at Hurricane Ridge

Incredible beauty.

McKay and Emerson with his snowball.

The kids got stuck in the snow 3 times because it was so incredibly deep.

Brahm only threw 1 tantrum the whole time when his hands were thawing in the car. Otherwise he was totally dimples the whole time, says Rick.

See?

My many emotions this week.

Scared.

Annoyed.

Surpised. That's it. There are no more.

Emerson's Baptism Day.

January 2, 2010. Emerson, we are so grateful for your choice to be baptized and start on the strait and narrow path toward Heavenly Father and Eternal Life. We love you and are pleased with your good decisions in life and your goodness and kindess toward others. You are a peace maker and a tremendous blessing to us all. Happy Baptism!

With Grandma and Grandpa Thompson. They flew out just for your baptism. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! It meant the world to him.

Some sweetness

Sigh....

New wheels

Brahm thought it was hilarious to fall off his new scooter and lay there on the ground.???

Every picture I took of Emerson on his ripstik was blessed with his peace sign. Silly kid.

Christmas fun 2009

All you need is Lego guys!! Thanks, Santa.
Slippers. Now he thinks he can wear slippers instead of shoes everywhere he goes. Thanks, Santa.

The 4th season of Little House on the Prairie. I'm psyched! No, seriously, it's the last of the 8 seasons that I didn't have. We watch it every Sunday as a family and it's so awesome. Thanks, Santa.

Sour Patch Watermelon slices? Seriously? How did you know, Santa? Thanks, man.

Our origami Christmas tree. The boys are fanatics and can make some quite impressive origami items, including wallets and picture frames.

I can't wait until I'm 8!

Emerson wanted a computer game character for his cake this year. It's supposed to be a flying monkey with a cape from the above view. He was happy so I guess that's all that matters, right?
YES! That's Rick covering Brahms mouth so he doesn't blow Emerson's candles out. We have a similar photo on McKay's birthday just a few pages back.
Emerson in his new scout attire and with his beloved new pocket knife.

The awesome new bike.

He sees his Knots book and can't hold back the joy.

His new quad scriptures for his special day. Happy Birthday "Bright Eyes". You are such a joy and miracle to us. We love you!

Turkey for you...turkey for me..

We had some of both families come for Thanksgiving. Here's us with Rick's parents, Dave and Mary, and 2 of his sisters, Marianne and Lucy.
Here we are with my parents, my sister Angie with her husband Brandon, and their 3 kids, Owen, Sadie and Cavin.

Some of the kids eating on the floor. There was almost no room at the inn...

Happy times around the food. P.S. That is just sparkling cider...don't anyone panic.

S'more joy as the Thompsons squish around a tiny card table in our little family room.

Happiness is....

Reading stories to your brothers.
Holding a baby.

Snuggles on the couch with daddy.

And brothers making silly faces in the bathtub.
