This is what I do when I want a treat, want to eat, want to go for a walk, want attention, want a belly-rub, want to play....

Thanksgiving at Grandma & Grandpa's house. Here I am posing shortly after I pooped on the carpet. Grandma laughed. Grandpa pretended to be angry. I love being cute. I wonder what Christmas has in store?

Grandma & Grandpa came to see me today! Grandma is practicing for when she gets her own pug... just like me! She does a great job of spoiling me with treats, even though mom tells her not to because she says they'll make me fat.

Auntie Trisha, Uncle Dale & Cousin Mel sent me a new friend... who looks just like me! I love to play with him and chew on him. Don't we look great together?

I like to go out on the balcony and frolic and eat the leaves. Grandpa put up the wire for me so I won't fall through.

I just woke up from a nap. Look at my cute pink collar!

So I woke up Thursday with mom as usual. Hung out with her, as usual. Waited to eat breakfast, as usual... but nothing happened! Then rather than putting me in my cage and leaving, she loaded me in the car and dropped me off at the Vet! I fell asleep and woke up with this thing on my head. I do everything with it on: eat, sleep, nap, play, go potty, go poop, beg for treats... you get the idea. And mom has stopped taking me for walks. Can somebody please explain to me what is going on???

My mommy loves me & I love to snuggle in her bed! P.s. I am now 11 1/2 pounds!

Mom brought me to my first Pug Meet-Up 2 weekends ago. It was awesome! There were lots & lots of dogs that look just like me. We had fun smelling each others butts. I am the little dog in the picture.

I graduated from Obedience Class 2 weeks ago!!! If you look closely you can my red graduation hat. My best friends at class were the boxer and the golden retriever. I can't wait to start Intermediate Class!

At Grandma & Grandpa's house for Steph and Tim's birthday. Mom brought me in the house when they blew out the candles. Hee! Hee! And I got to sit on Uncle Jason's lap (on the couch)! *gasp* I also chased Uncle Timmy. He didn't know I could run that f-a-s-t!

My first boat ride! I loved it. It was the first time ever that there was nothing to distract me and I could sniff in the air. Loooooooong breaths of air.

My first Frosty Paws experience! It was AWESOME!!!

I like to burrow under my mom's comforter. She likes to peek in on me.

Could somebody please explain to me why I'm having a hard time pulling my leash?

I've been caught! I was in my glory shredding apart the toilet paper I had gotten ahold of when mom came from the other room! (uh-oh). She said in that voice: Excuse me, missy, just what do you think you're doing? And then she took away my fun.

Here I am trying to fit into an impossible space: between my mom's bed & the wall. I do this all the time and my mom laughs at me. Then I just sit on the floor in exhaustion... still in the tiny space. What's back there? Well, that's for me to know!

Here I am napping on mom's pillow. It's one of my favorite places to nap. Notice that my tail goes straight when I sleep? Next to me is my favorite toy: a little stuffed dog that Auntie Noelle and Uncle Paul bought me. I love it! I carry it around in mouth all the time. It fits perfectly there (in my mouth). Yesterday Auntie Dawn, Uncle John, & Cousin Steph puppysat me. I had an awesome time! I kept them busy with my cuteness factor at a 12 out of a 10!

Hi! I am growing so fast! Mom says I have a little belly now. But I justify it by saying it is because of the treats I am getting because of Obedience Class. You see, mom still has to 'train' me even when we're not in class, which means I get extra biscuits & such! And this past weekend mom brought me Up North to meet the fam and I was spoiled with extra treats! Auntie Noelle bought me 2 new toys & treats. I was also getting fed sausage (which later resulted in a reek to high-heaven shart on mommy's skirt & arm!!!!!). Other adventures Up North: Uncle Timmy & Uncle Paul played tug-of-war with me. I almost ate a mini slug which mom squeal. I ran in the lake (I don't think I like it much). I was put in cuteness contest against cousin Jaimie and my mom is pretty sure that I won. Other that than, I was told this morning that I sometimes sit like a rabbit. I'll have to post a pic of it. Apparrently my back feet sit stick up like a rabbit's do. Peace out, Amigos!

I'm back! After so long of not being able to blog, I'm back! Me & mom have been busy moving. I have already marked my territory twice in the new apartment... much to mom's dismay. We started obedience classes yesterday. It's awesome! There are other dogs there I can mingle with & I really think mom is learning a lot! Mom & I will be going to the vet asap because mom thinks I have entropion (i.e. something wrong with my eye). She is sooo worried:( Auntie Noelle & Uncle Paul are coming to visit tomorrow. I have been promised prized!

Today I received my second teeth-brushing. My toothpaste is poultry flavor. I love it! I go wild & crazy and lick it off the toothbrush while mom attempts to brush my teeth.

Today is a rainy day. When mom & I came in from going potty she threw my pillow case on me to dry me off. This is fun because then I wrestle with it and bite it too! I pooped out grass today. It sort of confused mom at first because it came out in a strand clump, but then I heard her kind of laugh. Boy, did I trick her. I heard mom talking on the phone today and heard her say that we will begin moving on Monday! I hope I like our new apartment and that the grass there is as yummy as it is here.

A new visitor came over yesterday. He took my abuse: scratching, biting & rough-housing. It was awesome. Me & mom went to PetSmart today and will begin puppy training next Thursday. She is hoping that this will especially help with my puppy biting.

I slept in my kennel last night (with the door open)! Mom is sooo proud! Mom gave me a bath today in the kitchen sink... I was not so happy. When she put me on the towel to dry off I attacked the towel and then raced around the apartment wildly. Tonight I start getting my teeth brushed (I don't know it yet!). I am still waiting to meet Grandma & Grandpa. I just know that they are going to adore me (and then buy me lots & lots of prizes).

I went to the vet today... I'm perfect! I weigh 5 pounds 4 ounces. It was great... everyone oohed and aahed over me, I got a treat and I get to go back in 3 weeks. Mom told me to tell you that I made a huge poop - biggest one yet - outside today!

I did awesome last night in my new home. I slept next to mom (she slept on the floor with me since it was my first night and she won't allow me on the bed). I don't know it yet, but my crate training begins today.

Hello, everyone! My name is Marlene (pronounced: Mar-lay-na). My mom named me after the German actress, Marlene Dietrich. I was born at the beginning of May, so that makes me just 9 1/2 weeks old! I came home today. My mom has been taking good care of me. I have pinkeled 3 times and pooped once today inside. Whoops! But... this last time my mom brought me out I actually pooped and received a treat for it! I'll have to remember that for next time. I miss my brothers & sisters and my real mom, so I follow my new mom everywhere she goes. I will only nap next to her too. But don't forget, it's my first day and I'm still adjusting. Tomorrow we're going on a car ride... to the vet! Hopefully I am healthy. Ta ta for now.
