A Saturday

And that's how we roll.

Because We Take A Million Pictures...

And by "we" I mean ME.

1.  A Day At the Park.  2.  Tre in a hole at the beach.  We didn't put it back far enough though because a bigger wave came up and filled up the hole with water…Swimming pool!  3.  Me and Mr.  boogie boarding at Waimanalo…if only we had someone to watch Tre at the beach EVERY time! (thanks Craig)  4.  Tre on the beach…Me and Mr. in the water.  5.  Being brave and jumping off the play set.  6.  We wear pink.  7.  I make him sit still so I can braid his hair.  8.  Love my coral skinnies…and for some reason they turn out more orangey in every picture.  grrr.  9.  Getting two inches cut off.  It's all I could bring myself to do.  10.  Babysitting Stan.  11.  We love Stan…And I have no idea why that picture is upside down.  A mystery of life I may never discover.  12.  Tre working out at Sports Authority while saying "I work out!  Girl look at that body."  No joke…he quotes LMFAO.

We take it all back!

HaHaHa!

Literally though…we're back!

After an extended vacation to the mainland we've made it back to beautiful, sweet, lovely Hawaii!

And we couldn't be happier.

I feel like the story has been told over and over again just about a MILLION times so here's the Cliff's Notes version:

1.  Joel has been searching/applying for jobs in Hawaii since we left.  Yup, that's how soon we realized just how much we loved Hawaii.

2.  Joel was offered a SWEET job on Oahu.  Check out www.biodiesel.com to learn more.  Yes, it's true…they make diesel from used cooking oil!  Ah-May-Zing!

3.  Joel accepted said job!

4.  We packed up and left Washington fast…like two weeks fast.  It was crazy.

5.  Joel came to Hawaii, started work and looked for a place for all of us to live.

6.  Tre and I spent some quality time in TEXAS with my parents and sister and her family.

7.  After two months of being in two different states Tre and I finally flew to Hawaii!

8.  Tre would NOT let go of Joel for the longest time when we got off the plane.  He missed his Daddy! It was so cute…and kinda sad.

9.  We are home.

Mini-One-Night-Sturgis

I almost felt at home in SD for the Rally…

Almost.

We went over to the Hogs and Dogs event a couple weeks ago and checked out all the bikes.  

Tre walked around the whole time saying "Tre's bike?"  "Tre's bike?"

Then all the sudden he got SUPER excited and started running away

yelling, "Tre's bike!"

Sure enough he found one that was just his size.

And we couldn't pry him off of it.

On our way back to the car after the event we passed by the fire station.  All the fire fighters were sitting outside watching all the bikes drive by and they had the firetrucks out.

They were so nice and let Tre climb in the truck and drive it.  

I don't think he's ever been happier.

Cars 2

We were so excited when we saw Cars 2 was coming out and knew that it would be the PERFECT movie for Tre's first theater experience.  Tre is seriously addicted to cars; knows all the characters, has the toys…loves it!  

So we go to the theater, purchase tickets and spend a million dollars on popcorn, candy and drinks….You know, the whole theater experience!  

(I'm totally singing "Let's go to the movies!  Lets go see a show!" from Annie right now.)

We find the perfects seats…

Tre kicks off his slippers and gets comfortable…

And we don't even make it through the previews before he is whining to go HOME!  

Home?  Seriously!?!  This is Cars 2!

We just bought a $15 dollar popcorn!

Why aren't you excited like Annie!?!

After trying to wrangle him for about 20 minutes we decide to call it quits.

Luckily the theater had an awesome manager that gave us refund tickets for ANY movie ANY time!

Happy ending…Joel and I went back recently and saw Transformers in 3D.  

Without Tre. 

Happy Birthday Joel…A Month Ago!

I was chatting with mi mamasita last night and she asked if there was anything new on my blog….Um nope I've been a complete SLACKER!  So all this if for you mama!

Joel turned 28 back in June….TWO years from 30 MR!  bahahahaha

We celebrated just him and I over dinner and some FroYo!

MMMMM…Pita Pit!

 This gives you an idea of how DIFFERENT Joel and I are.

His froyo is cake batter with bits of cookie dough, reeses and caramel.

Mine is raspberry with gummy bears, sour gummy worms and peachie o's.

Fat and Happy.

Then we turned the bass up and rocked out to Paper Planes (cause Tre wasn't in the car!)

All I wanna do is a boom boom boom

And a cha-ching

And take yer money!

HAHAHA! We're funny.

I've become that person

That person who

...

leaves food all over the ground at restaurants 

...

has fingerprints all over her house

...

whose bathtub is covered in crayon art

...

gets excited when they hear sirens so I can point out the fire truck

...

cleans up toys a million times a day

... 

carries a purse full of fish crackers and monster trucks

...

And I have to admit

...

It's not all that bad!
