October went by too fast

I know I'm behind, I finally posted Halloween pictures and now the long updates (mostly pictures). I took Abbie and Ella to the pumpkin patch with the Joyschool group we do with friends. The girls had a great time!

Abbie and I had a chance to go FLY in my friend's private plan to Catalina Island!! (Mike had to stay home with Ella this time but he'll get to go soon.) I always loved flying ever since I was little and I want to get a license to fly someday! My friend from my ward and her husband got their license last year so she took us for a ride. It was so much fun. Abbie wasn't really into it until Marylou dove down (zero gravity) and she kept asking to do it again. The third time made me scared though... lol. Maybe she'll become a pilot someday and do all sorts of crazy things. Here are the pictures from our trip:

LANDING
Abbie started preschool on the 25th of October and she is so excited to be apart of her school! We were going to do preschool at home this year but my friends invited us to do Joyschool with a group of friends and then found out from another friend about her preschool, Hawk's Nest. It's a preschool program with high school students who are taking college courses off campus. Abbie loves her teacher, Ms. Gonzalez. She is such a sweet teacher and great with kids. There are about 1.5 preschooler to 1 student teacher so the kids get lots of attention. She is gone twice a week so until the end of this year, she's been going to school 4 days a week. It's been a great break(lol) for me.

Where are the Halloween pictures?

It has been a crazy FALL this year. My family has been bugging me to put pictures of the girls from Halloween, sorry!

Abbie couldn't decide what she wanted to be for a long time. Every time I asked, her answer was different (mostly Disney Princesses). But when my girls and I went down to visit my sister early in October, she brought out a costume pattern she got from our mom (which she used for my youngest sister). As soon as Abbie saw it, I knew she made up her mind, JESSIE from Toy Story. My mom also made Woody for my dad one year(very long time ago) and my sister had it as well so we brought it back with us for Mike to dress up for Halloween too. Abbie was so excited and wanted all of us to be a character from Toy Story so that's exactly what we did. Mike was Woody, Abbie was Jessie, and Ella was Hamm the piggy bank, and I was Bo Peep. Not only I made a costume for the very first time, I made three of our costume and a cowboy hat for Mike. I forgot to take pictures of us all together so I'm trying to get a copy of us from our ward's Halloween party... until then I'll post what I have

It was cold when we went treat-or-treating so Ella wore Abbie's old costume-batterfly instead of Hamm from Toy Story

I'll post one with the family as soon as I get a copy!

My new craft blog

I was invited to do craft fair/carnival and sell my crafts with my friend Jenolyn, so thought why not start my own blog/website to spread the word out and just today created my own facebook page too. I just started it so it's not very much but  I hope you can check it out and give me a feedback on what I should do to improve and anything that will help me. :) Thanks!

Lots of fun summer days

We did lots of fun things this summer. We always say we are going to do something and we always end up cleaning, working on the house, yardwork, etc., so Mike and I decided that we are going to try and do something at least one day a month as a family. So with that said, I want to recapture the things we did this summer:

Trip to San Diego, Legoland
My parents got us tickets to go so we left Ella at my parents' house while we took Abbie to Legoland. She had so much fun and got lots of attention from us. It was neat to see all the different caracters made out of Lego.

Swimming lessons
We enrolled Abbie in swimming lessons again this year. We felt it's important for childs to learn to swim and Abbie really enjoys swimming. She used to want to swim like a fish but this year she pretended she was a mermaid, "Ariel" to be exact.
She passed level 1 her first two week lesson so for another session she went straight into level 2 for the second- two week lesson. We are so proud of her:)

Camping
This was our first camping trip as a family. Our friends, Papavero family, invited to go with them. It was so fun! Although Abbie dislocated her knee the night before so she couldn't really walk or do anything very much but she still had lots of fun.

Calico Ghost Town
This is literally in middle of no where-in the desert. It was so hot that day too, but despite the heat we still were able to have a good time.

Fireworks at Ft Irwin
At Ft. Irwin, which where Mike works, they had a celebration of the completion of the towncenter which Mike helped build. It was so much fun to see what Mike does and what he had done. Abbie had a great time playing at the park which Mike was incharge of it. Even though it was hot, it was worth the trip to be a part of it. At night, they ended with fireworks, which was amazing!

Took Family photos
We finally got our family pictures done! Thanks to my talented friend, Jenolyn. I've been wanting to get our pictures done for a long time. She also took Ella's pictures when she was still less than two weeks old. I love how it turned out. There are not much pretty place up where we live, so we were happy when we found this cool place.

Stake Pioneer day activity
Even though not a lot of people showed up from our ward, it was still a lot of fun. Mike was asked to be in the waterdunk so he was in there for about half an hour. Abbie was actually the first one to dunk him. That was Abbie's favorite part of the activity.

Abbie's birthday party/birthday at home
I have already posted earlier about Abbie's birthday party so here are some pictures of celebrating together as family on her actual birthday. She got a bicycle.
I didn't want to bake a cake twice so we made cupcakes together. She chose blue and purple color. She helped decorate it.

Abbie wanted to have Minnie Mouse Pizza for dinner. We made two small Minnie Mouse Pizza for her.

Circus
Wow! It was amazing! This was my first time going to the circus as well as Abbie and Ella's. It's amazing what people can do. We enjoyed it so much!
