crocheting projects...

i don't know when i will have the time...altho' i did make the baby a teddybear beanie & Haylee a little beanie...so maybe i will have time...i really want to work on crocheting these items in the near future...i'm also working on a few more teddybear hats for some pregger people who saw Aiden's hat & fell in love ;)

i would like to crochet this for myself - it is a camera strap for my camera...not sure what color but i'd probably add a few buttons or something to spruce it up...maybe, i don't know...definitely think it's cool lookin' tho':

this is super cute i want to make one in every color imaginable for Haylee...she would totally love it, i can't wait to make it for her.  she is so cute, she wears all of the beanies & scarves i crochet her to school & all of the little girls love them...makes this mama so proud that she is excited to wear something that i made for her.  i hope she never changes...love her just the way she is...*wink*...isn't this cute?...

who knows, if it turns out this cute maybe i'll make a few for myself too!  i was also thinking of crocheting Aiden a swaddle blanket too in a very soft baby yarn.  he loves being swaddled still right when he goes to bed at night...although he always gets out of the swaddle by the morning, i think he just likes the comfort of being wrapped so tight, plus he keeps warm {he gets cold easily, unlike Haylee}.  he's getting big, so some of the blankets we used to use to swaddle him, he is outgrowing.  ;)  so i thought i could probably do that in a tight crochet stitch too...

i'll be sure to blog about any new creations!  here's a pic of the teddy bear hat again...i am so proud of it...hee hee, my very first one:

wow...feelin' humbled tonight...

some of you might know that i was doing a free photo session giveaway on my Lissarie Photography facebook fanpage...the drawing was today.  i did the random number selector to choose my winner.  i asked the winner to email me to set up a date for a photo session.

let me just first say that i do these giveaways and specials in order to market myself and to ultimately make a little extra money because i typically just give away 5 pics or so and people want to buy more...but mainly i do it to get my business name out there.  ;)

so anyway this lady emailed me and said she would like to give this free session away to one of her friends who does not have a lot of money, is a single mom and is struggling.  she said her niece is a hair stylist and she has a friend who is a make up artist and she's going to give it to her as a gift and she is so grateful that she won!  i just feel humbled right now.  going into this giveaway a little selfishly...and now the outcome has me just in awe.  so amazing that someone would do something so special for another.  isn't that just great??  i think i want to do something special for this lady too, like maybe give her AND her friend a free session.  i wonder if she will let me tell her story on my Lissarie weblog, omitting names of course....i just think it could really touch someone's heart....just like it has touched mine tonight.  :)
