Countdown to the 4th Attempt

Insyaallah, my DH and I will be undergoing the Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) in few months time. At first, i wanted to postpone the treatment till next year. However, my DH thinks that we should do as soon as our Dr said that we are good to go!

Therefore, I would just have to wait for my next menses cycle and I will be seeing Dr Wong again for the intended FET.

Ok, let me share what are the supplements that i am currently taking for the preparation of the FET.

1. I will start my day with this purple Monavie (30ml). Reason? I was told by a TTC friend that Prof Zainul from HUKM highly recommended of consuming this for IVFers.. Well, there's no harm of trying, kan?

2. Secondly, I will consume Biodex's D-Toxy for cleansing (so they speak..whatever)..Why Biodex? Well, one simple reason. I was forced by my MUM! My mum, being a retired stay at home woman, she is greatly influenced by the Biodex's testimonies on TV and magazines.. Well, I just gonna follow my mum's wishes..

3. Thirdly, I will drink up a combination of Biodex's IGC Milk and SupreMix as my breakfast.

4. After lunch, i will take the normally recommended supplement for TTCians.. Folic Acid...

5. Then, i will chew Biodex's Noni, coz they told me that this will help me to cure my PCOS.. wallahualam..

6. Later, around 3.00-5.00pm, again, i will take another Biodex's product that is Liquid Manja Prune. Well, the reason being is because they told me that this will help to strengthen my womb.. wallahualam..

7. Next, before dinner, i will drink up another round of purple Monavie (30ml)..

8. After dinner, I will take a tablet of GNC's Evening Primrose Oil. Reason? No obvious reason, it's for my general health, i guess.. :)

I guess, thats all for now.... How crazy, kan? The costs of taking the supplements as above is estimated around RM200-400 per month.. *pheww*

Any other recommendations dear TTCians? Do drop me a message yeh?

Post TTC's Gathering

Alhamdulillah, the gathering was held successfully last Saturday, and around 50 members attended! The number of attendees had increasing on the last few days from the date of gathering..

And based on the feedbacks given by the TTCians, it was tremendous!

I was one of the organisers and MC for the day. It was all impromptu and I wasn't actually planned for everything that i've said during the gathering. The ceremony started with an ice-breaking sessions for the TTCians, and it ended with the words/expressions by the TCCians' husband!

There was lots of laughs, smiles and tears throughout the ceremony..  It was fun.. super fun!

After the ceremony, i had a conversation with my DH..

DH: I can see now the reason why you are not pregnant, yet..

Me: Huh? Why???

DH: Maybe, you are fated to make your group (TTC Group Malaysia) happy. I can see that the TTCians were truly enjoyed with your efforts to unite them..

Me: They made me happy too..

Truly, i am a happy girl right now.. I somehow feel blessed with the new relationships that I've created with the TTCians and I hope that this relationship will last forever.

Like i've mentioned in the gathering, TTC Group Malaysia will go beyond Facebook. When the right time comes, I will register this group in the Registrar of Society and make this group a legal, registered society in Malaysia, insyaallah.. I hope this group will help thousand more couples out there to build up their confidence and strengthen their marriage, eventhough, they are fated to be CHILD-LESS! wallahualam..

How to Join "TTC Group Malaysia" in Facebook?

Alamak, it appears that soo many of you tried to ad yourself in the group ya? But it appears that you can't find the group at all, right?

I'm sooo sorry. Previously, i have set up the group as "secret group" of which none of the outsiders can see/view the contents of the group as well as to search/find the group. Now, I have no idea why I could not "undo" the group categories. If I could set the group as "closed group", i think the problem would have been solved  already. The problem is that, I CAN'T!

Therefore, there's another way to join this group..

1. You can add me to your friend's list : reenr83@yahoo.com

2. Upon adding me to your list, pls PM me that you are a TTCian.

3. I will add you to the TTC Group Malaysia

Okeh? Is that simple?

In the meantime, I will rectify the problem (if i could lah..hehe..)

See ya there!!!

Infertility Problems - Face it!

I received a shocking call from my old friend, a husband, who has been married for 3 years and no babies yet. I always knew him for being a cheerful man, funny and super friendly. When he called me, I knew that something might be wrong. And true enough, he told me that how stressful he was when people around him kept asking him about not having any babies, yet.. He was no longer a cheerful and happy-go-lucky-man like i used to know him.

This is another solid evidence on how infertility problems that you are having with your spouse might KILL your personality, MURDER your confidence, MANSLAUGHTER your relationship with the people around you!

However, infertility problems should not be an excuse for you to change at all. You can change in the sense of appreciating your spouse, loving kids even more, never failed performing solat-solat sunat, reading surah Maryam everyday, donating and doing charitable works etc..etc..

Be open to the people around you. Tell them how you feel towards your problems. I knew quite a number of friends who have stopped attending school reunions, kenduri-kendara, family gatherings and others, just because of their failure to conceive after years of marriage. This should not be the way, as we can't forever RUN from our problems. We just simply have to FACE IT!

Face the problems with maturity and I believe that Allah has some other plans awaiting for us in Jannah, insyaallah.

And for those who are still "hiding", i just wanna let you know that.....

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

4th Attempt - Am I Ready?

Been discussing a lot with DH lately. I currently have 3 frozen embies and based on research, the longer you froze the embies, the quality of the embies will be lesser. And alhamdulillah, rezeki kami sgt2 murah lately, adalah sedikit duit nak teruskan treatment. (thank you again ya Allah ya Rabb)

Anyway, all my 3 embies are only a grade B embies. One with 7.5 cell, the other is 7 cell and the third is only 6 cell.. Well, i would not put a high hope on the embies but to throw the embies away is totally a wastage. FET (frozen embryo transfer) will only cost half of the overall cost of any fresh IVF cycle.

Well, i gotta wait for my next menstrual cycle i guess.. Maybe i will undergo the FET during fasting month. Yes i know, the timing isn't that convenient, but that is the only time DH will be around with me.

Then again, I'm not gonna hope so much from this. But i will still pray really2 hard for this journey to end with a success.. Insyaallah.

 7 cell embryo (grade B)

Adoption - Conditions Imposed by The Baby's Parents

Hello TTCians,

I'm back from my DH's hometown in Terengganu. And guess what? I managed to see the baby of which, the baby's parents have agreed to give it to us.

However, we can't just take the baby easily. The Parents of the baby had imposed to us a very strict conditions a follows:

1. When the baby reaches 7 years old, he must be sent to SEKOLAH PONDOK ONLY! The baby is not allowed to be placed in government or private school.

2.Studying AGAMA is the main priority, and the conventional studies are only secondary!

3. When he reaches 18 years old, he must be sent to MESIR or YAMEN to further his studies.

(reasons of the above : the parents could not afford to send their kids to agama school. The parents felt that if one of their child has a religious education, that would be a great "saham" to them in akhirat, even tough they don't really look after the baby )

 ******************************

Now, you all can guess my reactions huh? I just looked at the parents and my heart was shouting... "WHAT THE F**K? ARE U CRAZY?" hehehe..

Ok look, I have nothing against any religious studies. I myself have a very religious family background and I was forced to learn agama at the level that you couldn't have guessed when you know me personally.

Religion is vital, especially when you are a Muslim. Yes, i know that. Learning agama alone, would not put food in your mouth, would not be able to pay the bills, would not be able to live your life peacefully.

There's a hadith stating that :
"berkerjalah seperti hidup untuk seribu tahun, dan beribadahlah seperti esok akan mati"

Therefore, to fulfill the above conditions are for me, a TOTAL BULLSHIT!

Therefore, my generous intention of helping the family has to be abandoned due to my unwillingness to support the ideas as above.

You can call me "jahil", "setan", "iblis" or whatever.. But for me, i need my child to be a well-educated person in both conventional and religion studies. I want my child have balance in his life and not ended up as an extremist.

Well, i guess, it's not my rezeki yet..I would have to wait for another or maybe on my own to be a mummy..

Ya allah,
Guide me..
I know that I'm jahil..
Please show me to the right path..
Ameen..

i feel pity for u baby..
You've been left neglected by your own family..
and your own family is stupid enuff to imposed to us the crazy conditions..
sorry, dear baby..

Adoption - Go or No-Go?

My DH's cousin has just delivered her 11th child... 11th, ladies and gentlemen!!! How insane was that!

The husband is only a contractor and the wife is not working. One of their children is a down-syndrome. When she first got pregnant to her 11th child, i offered myself to become her child's legal guardian as I know how difficult the family was. But, she refused. She said to me that even if she has to eat "pasir", she will never give any of her children to anybody. Well, it does make sense!

But, things have changed now. I guess, she has started to feel exhausted of carrying sooo many children. Or maybe, the more obvious reason is MONEY! She called my MIL and offered her baby to us.

Ok now.. I have a very important decision to make..

GO OR NO GO?

Should I adopt the baby or not? If i take the baby NOW, obviously, I am not ready.. I have lots of things to buy.. baby stuffs! Will I ever make it?

If i reject the baby now, will I ever gonna receive the same opportunity in the near future?

Talking about adoption and religion, that will be a different story, right? My mum kept telling me about aurat with my adopted child if he/she grew up later? (not that i really take care of my OWN aurat, but this is a point to ponder)

Ya Allah,
Give me some guidance,
Please show me the way,
Am I fated to help the babies in need?
Will I ever gonna conceive on my own?
Am I ready?
Show me the way, Ya Rabb..
