I finally have gotten around to blogging. We had to get a new computer first and then I had to download all my pictures on here. Lane had his big birthday in July. Of course we celebrated it up at the lake on the houseboat.
The thought of Lane growing up makes me sooo sad. Lane is my little sweet heart. He is so easy going and mellow. My favorite thing about Lane is his innocence. He gets so excited about the most simplest things, so excited. Especially if you mention the word ice cream or anything with sugar really. He has the biggest sweet tooth ever. He always has something on backwards, its usually his underwear or shoes.
Lane LOVES toys, any toy he just loves toys. He can entertain himself for hours, hes kind of a loner. He doesn't mind playing by himself and kind of prefers it sometimes. His toy of choice is always a motorcycle, a dirt bike one. You will rarely see him without one in his hand. He even has to sleep with a toy every night. His second choice would be his boat, remote control boat even though he never uses the remote ,he prefers to push it himself.
He doesn't care much for food, its a fight every night to get him to eat. We can usually bribe him with a treat after words. He is the best sleeper. He can sleep through anything, even a fire alarm. He can fall asleep anywhere too.
He is going to play his first year of soccer this year and is beyond excited, I think mainly for the uniform and his new cleats.
He is very particular about what he wears. He LOVES basketball shorts and hates pants. He hates collard shirts,button up shirts, striped shirts. He will only wear t-shirts with pictures on them, quicksilver, Shop shirt, Hurley etc. If I put him in any of those clothes he will go change them himself.
He is the cutest little boy!! Has been called a girl more than once, with those golden curls. We love you Lane and are so lucky to have you in our family.
