Want to see updates of our family?

(Edited just to move to the top of my blog)

I swore I'd never privatize my blog. I wanted to be able to have old friends find us and I figured there was no other way.

However with a few exciting changes and a new idea I think I found a way around it! (I'll still keep a main page where visitors can see a picture of us and post if they'd like to be invited but not be able to see our family updates or information.)

Please email me at sprtygal10@aol.com (or leave a comment below-don't worry I have to approve all comments so if you leave your personal info I'll delete the post after I get the information off of it) and tell me if you'd like to be able to read my blog by giving me your email address (and in some cases how I know you). To borrow some ideas from my friend:

1) Don't assume I know you read my blog. If you read it, and would like to keep reading it, email me so I can add you to the list.

2) Don't be shy. If you know me but we haven't talked in a while but you'd still like to see us, please email me and tell me how I know you! What's the worst that could happen? :)

2) You dont have a gmail account to read or comment.

3) Once I add you to my list, you will receive an email invite to view our blog.

**If you have a link on your page to my blog, please leave it as is. That way people who click on it will be directed to this page (and can see how to get a hold of me), instead of my new page, which will appear locked to them.

Animate to Educate

Sesame Street and Aniboom have teamed up to create a pretty awesome contest. Aniboom does some pretty amazing contests and is accompanied with some impressive prizes. This year Tarl, created his own entry by animating these cute creatures and got my brother-in-law Chad to get some funky music to go with it. I must say, I love it.

Go watch it. And if you wouldn't mind, vote for it! (PS If you would like to vote, you have to create a simple account—I believe to help protect from fluff votes. But even viewing it helps so go take a look.)
