BSU Game
We took the kids to a BSU basketball game, and they had so much fun! Mason loves basketball right now, and they just love anything BSU. Maya and Elly love the cheerleaders and had to wear their cheer outfits! Elly was mad her mom forgot her pom poms, so a lady behind us gave the girls hers. They were for the other team, but Maya and Elly could care less as long as they could cheer with them!

2010

2010 definitely started with a bang for us! It started new years night with a call to 911 and a trip to the ER. Tyler hadn't been feeling very well the night before with flu-like symptoms. Then he took a turn for the worst, and had me call 911. I've never done that, and kept thinking he would say, tell them not to come, it's ok. but he didn't. He thought he was having a heart attack. The paramedics showed up, and thought he was having a panic attack, but then he went into a seizure. They gave him an IV and took him to the ER. Talk about scary. I couldn't figure out what had happened- he was fine 24 hours earlier. So now I'm thinking he has epilepsy. When I get to the ER he looks really bad. My dad and the paramedic gave him a blessing, which I was really grateful for. They told me he had a really high fever, and really low blood pressure, was dehydrated, and was really sick. I thought I was going to be sick. While he was laying lifeless there, I had all these crazy thoughts going through my head, like I was going to be a single parent or he was going to be paralyzed-They gave him a CAT scan and were going to test him for meningitis. (Seriously so crazy) They thought maybe he had an infection. About 4 hours later they moved him to the ICU, but still didn't know what he had. They tested him for everything. He had to stay in the ICU for a couple days because his tests showed he had a lot of liver damage,(liver of an alcoholic-awesome) but they didn't know what caused it. His numbers started to go up, and he got to go to a regular room. He finally got to leave, but had to take a week of work off to take it easy. They still did not know what had caused this. They told him it would take a couple weeks to get all the tests back to see if they could figure it out. When he went in for a check up they told him they thought he had pneumonia, and with all his other symptoms together had caused the liver damage. The whole thing was really bizarre. His liver is still not back to normal, but it's getting there. I'm so thankful for all our friends and family and for their thoughts and prayers- we are truly grateful. I'm so glad Tyler's ok, and everything is back to normal. Hopefully this is not a preview of things to come in 2010!

Happy New Year!
I never look at my blog, so it cracks me up when that prego lady ticker says my baby is 7 months....what the...? Where did 2009 go? And why do I not update this blog? I have been documenting it- I just have not posted my drafts. (I counted 37 drafts not posted) So that will be my new years resolution: To get caught up on this blog. I really want to make this into a book someday, so I have to post the last 8 months!

Better late than never!

Even though she is ten weeks old I have to send announcements! (I don't know why it has taken me so long.) These pictures were taken her first week or two of life , and I just think she's the cutest thing!

SIX!
Six things I love about Mason:
His smile- He always smiles so good for me when I'm taking pictures-It makes things so much easier!
He loves his sisters-especially Marlie right now! He always tries to make her "talk" and smile, and he helps in the car if she's sad he'll get her binky and talk to her.
His memory. The kid remembers everything.
He loves holidays! He's always telling me the holidays in order and which one is next. He likes them all! (Especially ones with inflatable decorations)
He is detail conscious. He likes things a certain way, and he can get pretty frustrated if things aren't that way!
His prayers. He says the cutest prayers and is really thoughtful and does a good job.
We love ya Mase!
