Our Thanksgiving, at the Bishops!

The beautiful table is set and ready to go!!

Jacob is ready to eat!!

We usually have a large group of cousins, but this year is was only these four!!!

My dad surprised Tyler and Kylee with their only Cornish Game Hens.
Tyler was so excited, "This is the best Thanksgiving ever".

Kylee wasn't quite sure what to do with hers. She just took bites out of it. If you look at the leg of the chicken on the right you will see a bite mark out.

Jacob got into the water of course outside, so he has no shirt. He really enjoyed the Sparkling Grape Cider grammy got.

A litte crack from Jacob

is all we see these day!!

We always have to have some type of entertainment of a family gathering!

Now for the dessert!

Pumpkin Pie, Pecan pie, and Apple Cobbler!

Amanda made these adorable Turkey Cupcakes for the kids!!

Jacob and Lilly loved theres!!!!!

The only girls here!! Amanda thank you for being such a wonderful sister!

I hope the rest of the family had an awesome day!! It was very relaxing and quiet. Thank you mom and dad for having it at your house. You two do some much for our family it is amazing!!!! I love you!!

Happy Birthday Amanda!

So after going to breakfast with my sister Amanda. I told her I was taking Lilly with me. She put up a fight and said no (amanda did, not Lilly). I said get her car seat and put her in it I am taking her. Lilly wasn't to excited when Amanda was buckling her in, then Amanda started crying. She always has her baby Lilly by her side. So it was hard for Amanda to think of doing things without her baby today (I am sure tht didn't last long). I shut the door and off we went.

As you can see Lilly had a great time playing. Didn't cry once. She played on the swing set, the sprinklers, ate a bread roll, played with the Little People farm animals, ate some noodles, and had another bread roll. She did awesome. I think Amanda only called 4-5 times:)

Amanda this is to show you, that she can be with out momma for a little while and still have fun.

This was the best!!!! I put on a Disneyland Sing-Along and WOW did Lilly break it down!!!! Then she got comfy and sat right infront of the TV---I mean right infront! I took a video and it was great of Lil dancing, but for some reason it won't download. Sorry you have to miss out on that!

One of my favorites!!!!!!!
Amanda hope you had great day by yourself!!! I know it was probably hard to relax at the beginning. But you know it was nice to run in and out of stores without unloading and loading your little Lil. I loved having her. We will do it again soon.
Happy Birthday, and I love you:)

Our Tree of Thanks!!!!

Every year our Family does a Tree of Thanks. We cut out leaves and write what we are thankful for. Kylee was thankful for God, love and Christmas. Couple of Mike's were
God, family, his job, and his health.

From the other end of the table--Tyler thankful for church, life and family. Austin so deep in thought---His brothers and sister, youth group, and health.
I am thankful for all the above, my family, having a wonderful church family, being baptized this year and my continual growth in the Lord.
What are some things you are thankful for????

Feeding the Ducks!

So after a week of everyone being sick we decided to get out of the house and go to Ford's Park in Redlands. The kids loved feeding the ducks.

What a happy bunch! It was so great to get out in the fresh air. It was a little to hot for a November day!

The boys just hanging out watching the ducks.

Jacob using all his might to throw the
bread to the ducks, and the bread would still land at his feet.

Jacob was exhausted after feeding the ducks then playing at the park. He drank the majority of the water, so everyone else was cranky and dying of thirst------so we went and got a Slurpee!!!

Weather Bug!

So who else is tired of the weather changing? Can it just make up it's mind (not like it has one) but come on. My kids are coughing, sneezing, and have runny noses. Now I have it because I get to wipe the snot. Jacob is the worse, he coughs so hard and so much that he throws up. I am tired of washing bedding and towels. SO THE SUN NEEDS TO SHINE, THE WIND NEEDS TO BLOW, OR THE CLOUDS NEED TO STAY---which ever it is just stay the same for a while!!!!!

This was our morning!!!

Then I get a call from the school at 10:15:
"Is this Kylee's mom". "Yes". "She just threw up everywhere". "I am on my way". My first thought was, couldn't she of said it a little different like--she is sick or even she threw up----not "she just thew up everywhere". I walk in the office, the janitor is mopping and asking the nurse if he got it all. My sweet daughter sitting there with huge tears in her eyes on a piece of paper because her pants are wet from the throw up.

WOW! what's next!
You have to love motherhood!!!!!
Then at 11:30 Austin's calls, "Do you have a spare key to my truck?" He locked his keys in while getting an assignment out. "Yes, I found it, but the kids are sick." "Ok just take it to the office and they can bring it to me." "Oh, so you want me to get the sick kids out of the car and go to the office---uh, no!" "You can bring it now, it is second lunch. My teacher is really cool, and she will let me meet you in front of the school." "No, I just got Kylee home and she is asleep, I will try to run it down before school let's out." "OK, call me."

Do I even want to say, "What Next?"

As I am leaving to get Austin his key--Kylee throws up, but I made it in time before his next classt at 1:30.

Now onto the evening. As I am making dinner, Jacob feels the need to throw open the glass door to the entertainment center and it SHATTERS.
Glass is EVERYWHERE!!!!! I try to vacuum it up before Jacob steps in it---Kylee starts barfing AGAIN and is yelling for me!!
Can it be bed time yet!!!!

Crazy Wildlife!

To see Frogs at our house is very normal, even these leaf bugs (sorry, I didn't look up the correct name).

This was Tyler's pet
lizard for a while.

Now, having Tarantulas is not that normal.

Now, this past Sunday while Mike was raking up leaves. He saw this beautiful parrot land in our tree.
It was so crazy, it was walking around right by us. Kylee was freaking out because it was to close. Jacob was screaming because he wanted to hold it.

The colors were absolutely amazing, it was so neat to watch it fly around the backyard.

Mike insisted on trying to have it land on his hand. Jacob had his hand out for a little while then ran the other way when it flew to the edge of the plastic pool.

I'll keep you updated on any other crazy animals that come our way!!!!
