Homeschooling, Birthdays, and a Blast From the Past

There's been a little bit longer of a gap than normal since the last blog. Since it has been at least six months there will be an enormous amount of pictures. The general reason for the gap is just that it has been incredibly busy. Two older boys, a baby, homeschooling, callings, birthdays, holidays, etc.--it all adds up = BUSY. Casey is getting into the swing of things with his Sunday school presidency calling. Teacher training and ward party planning has kept him going lately. Casey's work is going well. He is trying to learn about the different departments out at work. He recently participated in an X-wing tournament locally. He had a lot of fun and placed first. Casey is also getting things together to apply for graduate school. His work does tuition reimbursement if it is related to mechanical engineering, so he wants to take advantage of that opportunity and get a master's. He will likely start next fall if all goes well. Life, Birth (#6), & Family

Our family was completely focused on getting ready for Emerson to come as April came. This led us to doing a lot of spring cleaning. We cleaned out closets, rooms, clothes, and the garage and anything we didn't use was donated. We also took this time to deep clean every area of the house. We also did some freezer meals that we could use after baby when Casey went back to work. The boys had fun helping organize the baby clothes and gear and it added to their excitement for our new family member. The second week of April I finished another semester of school. I love school, but was so happy to finish since I was doing it on top of twice-a-week doctor appointments the whole third trimester. Also, the week before Easter we had so much fun talking about what Jesus Christ was doing each day leading up to Easter/His resurrection. A neighbor and ward member had designed coloring pages representing each day for his grand kids and let everyone have access to these too. The boys love...
