In all honesty... I am never going to cathch up on this blog!

Ok so Molly is now 6 1/2 months old, sitting up, rolling over, and crawling! Since my last post has her at 2 months I think it is time for me to admit that I am never going to catch up on here unless I just skip ahead to today... So here is a quick peek at al the things that went on in our lives that will never be blogged about!

Molly is 2 months old! (Well not really remember I am still playing catch up...)

Wow! 2 months flew by and with everything going on we somehow never took an official 2 month picture... But we have something even better! Right about the time she turned 2 months we had her pictures taken. We had a wonderful photographer who was so patient. You can't even tell by the pictures how very uncoperative Molly was... They turned out so cute! Here are a few of my favorites...

1 of our very favorie things...

The sling! Molly loves to be in the sling and I love that she is happy and close to me while I cook dinner, shop, and play with and do things for Madison and Emmry. It has also been a huge help at the airport with all our travels. It is like magic... she gets fussy- put her in the 'peanut shell' and she just chills out! I even eat with her in it at home and at resturants!

Happy Father's Day

The girls dressed up to serve Austin a special Father's Day dinner. They were so cute! What lucky girls to have such an amazing daddy! We are so blessed!

Our little dancer...

Madison had her second dance recital on Father's Day weekend. We were so proud of her she is quite the little dancer! Emmry can't wait for her turn and was dancing along with everyone in her seat. She kept saying she was "practicing for the fall". The fall is when she starts dance so next year we will have 2 litttle dancers in the recital. We were so excited (and thankful) to have Tess there with us for the second year in a row! Last year she filled in for me at the recital when I was in Colorado on assignment at a YL camp. This year she drove all the way from College Station to be part of this special day. She even wore the backstage mom pass and let me go sit and watch the second act. We love her!

A fall and a trip to the hospital

About 6 weeks ago I was putting my makeup on one morning and Molly was sitting happily in her bouncy seat watching. Emmry called me out into the living room to clean up a mess and then she decided to return to the bathroom to "help" with Molly in her bouncy seat. Next thing I knew they were both crying and Molly was laying onthe tile floor in the bathroom. Emmry was crying saying "I hurt Molly"... I finally figured out that she had tried to pick her up and ended up dropping her. I calmed Molly down then calmed Emmry down (Emmry really did cry more than Molly). It was time for Emmry's gymnastics and I could not get a hold of Austin so we went on while I waited for him to call me back. There was a pediatric ER doctor at gymnastics watching her daughter (thank you God!)and she overheard me discussing this on the phone with Austin trying to figure out what to do. She calmed me down and looked Molly over and told me she looked ok but to take her in if she acted different that day. By 4 when she was still sleeping I called the pediatrician. They saw her and sent us to the hospital for a catscan. It turns out Molly had a small concussion from the fall. She was fine and back to normal 24 hours later. Needless to say Emmry has not attempted to pick her up again and we have thanked God countless times that it was not more serious! Never a dull moment!

The last day of Kinder...

It is so hard to believe that Madison is headed into 1st grade... This past year flew by and Madison learned so much! We are so proud of her and all that she has learned and so very thankful for a wonderful teacher and foundation to school!
