OCTOBER-FESTivities

Our family usually spends General Conference weekends with Roberts whole family at the Ranch in New Harmony. Its so fun to spend time with everyone, relax, and listen to Conference. All of the cousins love each other!
Here is a cute little video of Kaylie singing with her cousin Travis.
Addyson May has the cutest face! How could you not love her?!

Here are some of the cousins together... Kaylie, Austin, Hunter, Travis, and Addy May.

I realize that I really do need to work on taking more and better pictures!

Before I had Kaylie a couple years ago, I quit my job as a legal secretary so I could be a stay-at-home mom. I love it so much, but I am also lucky enough to get the opportunity to go in the office once in awhile to help out if one of the girls is on vacation or anything. One of the best parts about it (besides making extra money) is that I can bring the kids in with me if I need to! So I went into work the Thursday before Halloween, and Misty set up a cute Halloween party for all the kids. Kaylie had no problem wearing her Cinderella dress all day long, but Hunter on the other hand, was not too fond of his Gus Gus costume! He just really hated wearing the ears! Misty's two kids dressed up as spiderman and spidergirl, and my boss brought his son in as Cars! They were so cute and they had a blast watching Halloween movies, listening to music, eating popcorn and doing fun activities.

Later on in the day I went into the play room because I heard Hunter crying and he had climbed up in the trampoline and couldn't get out, and since I am a great Mom, I grabbed the camera and took a picture before saving his life!

On Friday night we took the kids over to the pumpkin patch. Hunter is a little young to fully enjoy it, but he liked watching Kaylie have a blast. She wanted to do EVERYTHING and was not scared one bit. She jumped in the bounce house, rode on a pony, went on some spinning ride, played games, and climbed up the big bounce house slide.
You can barely see her tiny little head. I thought she would be scared, but she loved the ride!

On Saturday we went to Heather and Robert's ward Trunk-or-Treat. Kaylie loved trick-or-treating with Travis. Then we went to their house to watch a scary movie and eat popcorn. The "men" were going to go to a haunted house, but then chickened out. haha..just kidding. They are just old and were tired at 9:00pm.

On Monday, the actual day of Halloween, we had the Heather and Robert over for some Chicken tortilla soup, and then headed over to Robert's grandmas house to show off the grand babies in their costumes. We went to a few more of our families houses and then came home to go trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. After every house we went to Kaylie would say, "Mom, I need to go to another house." By the end of the night she goes, "Mom you carry my bag, its too heavy!", but it didn't stop her from wanting to get more candy. I love Halloween, and its so much fun when you have little kids. But I am very happy that it is over!

I tried to get the 4 kids in one picture, but it just didn't happen. Travis was a cowboy and his little brother was a cow!

Summer luvin..

It just hit me that summer is coming to an end, and I have no idea where the time went. So, I thought it would be a good idea to go through my pictures and see what we have done in the last few months.

To start off at the end of April- my Dad got married, for the 4th (and hopefully last) time :). Him and Trina were married in St. George, UT and it was beautiful. She is a wonderful, beautiful lady, and I think my Dad is super lucky to have her. This was Kaylie's first duty of being a flower girl, and she did a great job, except for the fact that she kept tripping over her dress walking up the isle and she kept saying "I'm going to a party!". haha, she didn't really know what was going on.

In May we took the kids to go see the Bellagio water show for the first time. Kaylie loved it, but Hunter got scared of the fountains. Grandma Warren also treated us to Sesame Street Live, and of course the kids acted like it was a rock show. We had a lot of fun. Since then Kaylie has been a huge Elmo fan.

Robert won tickets to go see Nitro Circus live, which was awesome. We have always loved their show, and if you know my husband, he is a huge motocross fan. Since my sister spent the night to watch the kids we thought it would be fun to stay out late and walk to strip, since we hadn't done that in years...and now we remember why. haha. We had a good time, after the show we walked down to Paris from MGM and got some gellato. After that it was already after 1:00am and we were done for, so we took the train back, and felt cool that we stayed out after midnight. Oh, and if you can't tell, we pretty much had the best seats!

My little sister Sara and my Brother-in-law Hunter Bean got married on June 21st. It was fun since I knew almost everyone at the wedding, which is a first, and Kaylie was a flower girl again. My camera was dead, so I stole a couple of pictures from Sara. We are still waiting on all of our family pictures, and hopefully pictures of Kaylie! Robert and my brother-in-law Robert were groomsmen along with Hunter's brothers from his platoon. It was great being able to meet and hang out with them while they were here.

My Father-in-Law married them. They are such a gorgeous couple!

I love you guys!!

Here are the cupcakes that i made for her Bridal shower. They look better in person, but i did half with silver sprinkles, a fourth with rings, and the other fourth said "I Do".

July is always an eventful month for us with mine and Hunters birthday, and our anniversary. Hunter turn 1 on July 5th. We celebrated with Roberts family on the 4th of July. We brought over our smoker that morning and Robert got to work smoking up a brisket and some ribs all day. It was sooo good! The kids all had fun playing together, we all ate way too much, and did our tradition of lighting fireworks and eat watermelon. We brought a highchair outside so Hunter could go to town on his little birthday cake. He ate ALL the frosting, and barely ate any cake. He was completely opposite of Kaylie on her 1st birthday, kaylie did not want to get messy, but Hunter loved it.

I don't have any pictures, but we had a great 4 year anniversary. I took the kids over to my Dad and Trinas house to spend the night, and Robert and I had a staycation over at Aliante Station. They have an online deal for 1 night stay, 2 free buffet and 2 movie tickets for $80. We took full advantage and had a great time. It was weird being away from the kids, it was my first time away from Hunter and the only time I have been away from Kaylie overnight was when I was in the hospital having Hunter. We really needed it though. The room was so nice, I think we will do it again.

I turned 26...(i had to think about that one, i forget how old i am) on July 27th. When Robert got home from work he watched the kids so I could go get a much needed pedicure and then we met up with my brother and sister-in-law, and my best friend and her hubby over at BJ's. I love that place, and was happy to get my free PaZzOokIe! (I am so fat, i know) I also got myself a new phone and some new cooking pans!

The week before my birthday I took the kids up to Utah to stay at my moms. While we were there, we took the kids to Hogel Zoo. Kaylies favorite part were the elephants and riding on the carousel. It was so nice to spend a week hanging out with my mom and Sara. Hunter had to go back out to Germany after their honeymoon, so my sister is doing her clinicals with the Vet up there in Mt. Pleasant until she can go out to Germany with him. It is always nice to get out of the heat too. The kids loved playing outside with the dogs, swinging, and feeding the horses their 'snacks'. While we were there we took the kids to their first drive-in movie to see Cars 2, and took them swimming to the Manti pool right by the Manti temple. Kaylie keeps talking about how she went swimming at the temple, and everyone gets confused, but that is what she is talking about.

This past weekend Robert really wanted to get out of the heat, and take the kids up to our Duck Creek cabin. Robert showed Kaylie how to roast a marshmallow for the first time and took the kids on 4wheeler rides. I enjoyed relaxing and i read the book 'The Help'. I wanted to finish it before the movie came out, and now i can't wait to see the movie.

I think the rest of our summer will be spend with more cabin trips, and I am crossing my fingers for going to the lake! Happy Summer!

My loves & New additions

My babies are growing up so fast, and somehow I love them more and more everyday. Kaylie is talking like a mad woman, and my chucky man is about to catch up to his sister weight wise. I was really worried about having two kids so close together, but I am so happy and thankful that things happened the way that it did. Hunter and Kaylie have already become best friends. He watches her every move and cracks up from any thing she does. They have been great and easy to take care of. I just hope it doesn't get too much harder once Hunter starts crawling. He is now 9 1/2 months old, and he will be crawling any day now. (not that I am pushing it) He somehow manages to get from one side of the room to the other by scooting on his bum.
One day we were just hanging out at home and Kaylie comes up to me and said "peepee in potty mom!" I was so excited and hurried and stripped her down and sat her on the potty. She was sitting there for awhile and nothing was happening, so we sang a few itsy-bitsy-spiders, and popcorn popping..and still nothing. She asked for her sippy cup, so i went into the kitchen then all of a sudden she goes "YAY MOMMY I DID IT!!" Sure enough there was a nice little puddle in her potty. I was so happy for her, and gave her a reward, and she couldn't wait to call daddy to tell him what a big girl she was! I wish that I could say that she is all potty trained now, but this was just one time. Any other time I have put her on her potty she gets too impatient, and as soon as I put her diaper on, then she goes. If anyone has some good potty training tips or good websites, let me know! I don't know why the whole potty training thing stresses me out.

My happy little girl!

Hunter had his first haircut at 9 months old given my Mom and Dad! Here are a few before pics:

AND After...

Here are a few more pics of my babies from the past few weeks:

The Warren Family have had a few additions in the family. My Sister-in-Law Heather and her Hubby had their second little boy, Austin, on Feb. 14th!

Hunter checking out his new best friend!

Robert's other sister, Laura and her hubby had their first baby girl, Addison May, on April 15th. Since they live in Idaho, we haven't met her yet. I stole this pic from her blog..thanks Laura :). She is so beautiful, and we can't wait to see her!

and Last and CERTAINLY least..is the newest member of our house hold...meet Belle.

I really do love her, but I wasn't quiet looking to get a dog just yet. Robert had to go into work one Saturday for a few hours and when he came home this little puppy comes running into the house after him. I didn't know what to think, but then he told me that his co-worker was on his way to go put her down because she was not getting along with his other dogs. My husband tries to act like he is a bad A, but really, he has a huge heart, and he wouldn't let that happen. So we gave her a chance, and we all love her now! She is a chihuahua mix, about 3 years old, and potty trained!
