The Boat Monday, August 30, 2004

The Robison boys had been saving their pennies for a boat for quite some time. They finally found one for sale in flaming gorge at an unbelievable price.

This afternoon we took it out for the first time and it ran great. We loaded up Dallin and Amanda and off we went. Our first surprise occured after Jeremy jumped in the water with a wakeboard and said 'hit it!'. The old ski rope that came with the boat immediately snapped. So we opened up the new wakeboard rope we had just purchased and Jeremy and Reid Justin did great.

We just had a quick hour in between Jeremy and Reid Justin's classes to take the boat out, so we quickly put it back on the trailer and started to head up the boat ramp. We saw Jeremy in the rearview mirror waving 'stop!' and realized that we had forgotten to put the prop up! (yikes) Luckily no harm was done, and we're all set for our next outing this coming labor day weekend. Anyone want to come?
