The Jim and Erva Sherwood Family

All is well in the northland of Canada. Here in Calgary we're all getting very excited about the completion of our temple! No more driving three hours to Cardston (although we're going to miss that temple.)

Jim has been the service missionary for the Calgary temple and he has loved it. It has been a wonderful experience for him.
Diane and I are driving to Seattle in ten days. We can't stay long cause we need to get back home for the Mormon History Conference being held in Calgary. Glen is singing on the program and we look forward to having them visit us for a few days.

Tyler (Diane's) is just over the half way mark in the Cordoba Argentina Mission.

The Dentons (Aarla Sutherland)

Well it's been QUITE a long time this time around!  The last post was about Reagan and Kyle leaving on missions, and they're both home now!  Reagen's married!  So how about some updates on the family?  Please send any pictures/updates to whitneyndenton@gmail.com or request to be a poster yourself.  I'll do today's on the Denton Family, since I know them best :D

George:
George has started raising bees and chickens!  He loves it. He is currently working at TD Williamson as a Production Planner.  They just moved to a new location where he can now partake in his most recent hobby--frisbee golf.

 

 Connie:

Connie is doing very well in her recovery from her bout with cancer.  She is still cancer free!  She works at Mountain America Credit Union right now.

 Whitney (24):

Whitney got home from her mission (Pennsylvania Pittsburgh) in March of this year.  She is currently working for Deseret Book.

 Kyle (22):

Kyle's been home from his mission (Argentina Buenos Aires North) for a year now.  He is selling alarm systems in Texas this summer.  He is currently studying at Utah Valley University to become a pilot.

Cody (21):

Cody is 11 days away from finishing his mission (Nicaragua Managua North).  We don't know what he'll be doing when he gets home :D

Chazz (18):
Chazz has been working at Low Book Sales and doing fantastically well!  He got his mission call this week to the Kentucky Louisville Mission and leaves August 8.

Mission Calls!

Hey everyone! It's been awhile! We have two new mission calls!

Elder Reagan Wing has been called to serve in the Seoul South Korea West Mission and reports to the MTC for 12 weeks on Feb. 25th, 2009. You can keep updated with him on his blog http://elderwing.blogspot.com/. His sister Casey will be keeping it updated.



Elder Kyle Denton has been called to serve in the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission and reports to the MTC on June 10th, 2009. You can keep updated with him on his blog http://elderdenton.blogspot.com/. His sister Whitney will be keeping it updated. Way to go boys!

I have to agree with Keith (Who I still can't believe is really a grown up with kids) that this is probably the best way to wish ALL the family a very Merry Christmas. Love you all.
