My baby boy is 4!

My baby boy just turned 4 and I can't believe where the time has gone. I wish I could hit a rewind button, because he was such a good baby. I feel like he is so grown up now. I just barely found these pics of him. I thought I had lost most of his baby pictures. I still have more to find but for now here are some of when he was 3months-1year old. I'll add more as I find them. I still can't believe he is 4 already. I'm crying my eyes out right now just looking at these pictures. Life flys by way too fast! Happy Birthday Noah-bug (Sept 26, 2005- 7lb 6oz 20.5 in) Oh and I'll post pics of his Birthday soon. We had a blast!!

4th of July!!!

Ok so it's been a really long time since I posted anything! I've been so busy with school that I haven't even thought about my blog. So this is going to be a long one. We've had such a fun summer so far, minus the school stuff :) Our 4th of July was a blast. We spent the holiday weekend up at my parents' house.

Our day started with a yummy breakfast, and then it was time to head over and watch the good old Huntsville parade. I love the small town parades so much better than the big city. It's much cooler, and just simple and fun!
Lydia was finally old enough this year to watch, and point out things that she recognized :)
Noah loved watching all of the tractors and cars drive by.

His favorite part of the parade was the fire engine.

The candy was also a big hit. He was so timid to run out into the road and pick up candy! I must have taught him well about not running out into the road :)

Lydia and Daddy hanging out, relaxing as the parade went on.

Towards the end of the parade, the people were throwing out otter pops! Oh how Lydia loves those popsicles :)

After the parade we headed into the park, and the first thing Noah spotted was the giant slide.

He went up and down so many times. I think we spent the majority of our money on these slides. Oh-well, the look on his face everytime he went down was priceless!

Lydia didn't care much for the slides. She was more interested in Food!!! Oh a girl after my own heart :)

Her favorite was the cotton candy!! She almost didn't try it, but once she did there was no stopping her.

After spending some time at the park, and buying a couple of aquatic frogs (that will be for another blog entry), we decided to take the boat out.

The kids love riding on the boat!! They have so much fun, and love to watch everyone ski and board.
Noah was very concerned about his daddy getting out into the water. He kept a close eye on him the entire time he was boarding :)

This was daddy's first time out on the water this year! I just can't help but brag about my husband. Look how good lookin' he looks out there on that water. MMmmm MMmmmm!!!

He even did a few tricks for us. Pretty good for it being the first time out this year :) Can't wait for Lake Powell!!!!

By the end of the day, Noah was pretty wiped out from being out in the sun all day.

Oh but Lydia could have stayed out all night! She thinks she is big stuff, and always trys to drive the boat when we aren't looking :)

After resting and getting cleaned up, we headed back over to the park to enjoy some music and fun before the fireworks. We forgot to buy glow sticks for the kids, so Mathis set out around the park to find some. Usually people are selling them, but not this year. Luckily a lady that Mathis asked where she got her's, was kind enough to give us a couple of her kids' glow sticks. Thank-you lady, my kids were so happy to play with them :)

This is some leftovers from the parade candy we retrieved. Lydia wouldn't stop eating all day! She is my little garbage gut :)

Noah started to get a little nervous as it got closer for the fireworks to start. He has always been afraid of them, and this year was no different. He hid under his blankie while grandma held him and sang nursery songs. He's my little tender heart :)

Let the fireworks begin!!!! The firework display up in Huntsville is one of the best we've been to.

The music they play is very patriotic and goes along so well with the fireworks.

We had such a great 4th of July, and we hope all of you did as well!! God Bless America!

Wow I'm 28!!

Ok so I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted something. I am back to school, and that takes up all of the free time that I do have after working, being a mom, and trying to sleep :) This is going to be kind of long, but I just have to share with you the fun birthday week I had.

My birthday was on May 20, and it fell on the same day that my cousin was getting married. So the whole day was spent celebrating her wedding. My parents did get me my goodie bag however, and as you can probably see...... I love Strawberries!!! (Those flowers were from the wedding reception.)

Mathis gave me a new digital camera for my birthday, and I had so much fun trying it out at the reception. He got me the Sony Cyber-shot. It is so nice, and has so many fun things that I can do with it. I love taking pictures of my kids but hated my other camera, because the battery was always dying, and the picture quality wasn't as good as I wanted. So now I am very satisfied with the 12.1 mega-pixels that this one has (my old one only was 4 mega-pixels.)

The grounds of the place of the reception were so pretty, so I had my own little photo shoot with my kids.

This is one of my favorites!

At the reception, they had this Candy Bar. You got a little baggie, and you could fill it up with all sorts of different candies. Noah liked the chocolates, and licorice the best :)

This picture makes him look so old. Stop growing up!!!!

My little princess!!

We stayed all the way till the bride and groom left. I think Noah had the most fun once the bubbles were brought out. He loves bubbles!!

Since my birthday was spent with the wedding. We decided to go out that Friday night with the kids for a family dinner. We headed to the Gateway to eat, and run around. We were hoping that the fountain would still be going when we finished eating, but it was too late so we just ran around taking pictures.

Thanks to my family for making my birthday lots of fun!!! I still can't believe that I'm 28!! Yikes :)
