Family Update

Logan is 10 months old. He loves to crawl around
the house and stand up on everything he can.

Riley turned 3 in November.

He loves to go to his preschool and playgroup.

I took this picture of Riley right before he went to his first day of preschool. He was so cute and excited for his new class. So far, he has only been in the time out chair once in the three times he has been. He is trying so hard to learn how to play nice with other kids.

Now that Logan is sitting up we decided to try the two boys in the tub together. They seemed to have a fun time together, and now that Riley has a friend to get in the bath with he isn't fighting bathtime anymore.

Logan is such a happy baby! He has been such a joy to have in our family. Riley loves to make him laugh and smile, and he is doing a lot better at being a nice big brother to him.

My life as a mother of two has been a lot busier than it was with just one, but I am loving my time with these two sweet little boys! They both love to have my attention, and usually at the same time.

Family update and Logan's blessing day

My precious little Logan loves his carseat he immediately falls asleep when he gets in it.

Logan was so handsome in his little tuxedo on his blessing day. We all look a little exhausted after having 40 people at our house for lunch after church. It was a great day, and we loved having our family here!

I know that I am about the worst blogger ever, but any free time I have usually goes to cleaning or catching up on sleep. Life with two kids has been very busy, but a lot of fun. Logan will be three months this week, and I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Riley has had a rough adjustment to being a big brother, but he seems to be getting better each day. I have always heard people call age two the terrible twos, but I never really believed that two year olds were ever really that bad, until now. Don't get me wrong Riley is a sweetheart, but he has been very challenging for his mommy especially since the baby arrived. I know I will survive this and I am probably a big part of the challenge with my crazy hormones.

Logan Reed Huntsman was born on April 3rd at 4:25 PM. He weighed 8lbs 9 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. He got an infection called Group B Strep and ended up in the hospital for 10 days. We are happy to have him home and healthy now, and we are just trying to adjust to being a family of four.

Our last family vacation as a party of three

There was an indoor pool at the place we stayed and we tried multiple times to get Riley in a swimsuit to go swimming, but he did not want to take off his shoes, pants,and coat. Even when his cousins came to swim he just walked around the pool and watched them have fun. Hopefully he will be over this by the summer.

We found a fire truck in front of a store and Riley did not want to get out of it. He stayed in it driving with daddy for a half an hour.

We went hiking at Red Cliffs. It was a different experience trying to hike with a two year old. Riley wanted to stop and touch everything or just sit and play in the sand, so we really didn't get very far before we had to go back. We did see one waterfall, and it was fun just being in the outdoors as a family.
