I am Thankful...
I am THANKFUL for Family, my adorable daughters, my handsome husband, and especially the much love we have recieved from others this year.
Reagan is ready for the Thanksgiving Feast!
Sage and her cousin Gabby
Hannah, Trevor, Sage, Gabby, and Chloe making their Indian headbands.
Silly Sage making/eating her candy turkey
I love this picture of Grandma and Grandpa with the kids. Reagan was sleeping so she missed out. Darn!
Silly bunch!
Reagan's awake! She has found her headband and her ice cream. She is happy....
It's the day after Thanksgiving which means time for Christmas! It our most favorite time of the year, except for the whole freezing part! I love Christmas decorations! It makes my house feel so warm and cozy. The girls had a great time this year decorating the tree! I let them go at it. It wasn't until the next day while Sage was at school that I took a go at it and rearranged it a bit!

Happy Halloween!
Trick or Treat!
Our Pirate Princesses were so very excited to go trick or treating this year!
We had a blast with them this year! Sage was VERY into taking the candy (as many as she could grab in fact! we had to have a little talk about only taking 1 treat!)
Reagan did not surprise us with her enthusiasm for candy. She was right up at the door taking her turn with the candy bowl! She was very polite and told everyone "Hi" as they opened the door!
This is Sage and her friend Sofia! They have a lot of fun together and have play dates once a week!

Fall with Us!
First time I put piggy tails in Reagan's hair! She is getting so big! Reagan is such a crack up. She makes us laugh daily with her funny personality and her growing vocabulary!
My kids are a little dysfunctional when it comes to taking pictures. We visited Corn Belly's again this year for the Fall Festival. It has become a fun tradition.
Sage waited in line for the Frisbee throwing competition. She was supposed to throw it into a big hole in the wall, it made it about half way there! She still got candy and had a smile on her face!
Reagan and I on the bouncy horse. Our horse's head was a little floppy and harder to bounce than I thought!
Reagan and Scott at the Pumpkin patch!
Sage was very serious about picking out the perfect pumpkin.
Sage has a love for horses. She was lucky enough to ride one of the Sterzer's horses! This is also when my camera decides to have a blurry spell!
Pumpkin carving with the kids! Sage and I cleaned out the pumpin, Scott sketched a face, and I carved it out! Oh and Reagan ran around the house!
Our masterpiece! I can just hear Reagan saying "cheese"!

A hunting we will go....
Believe it or not, I have once again drawn a tag that was nearly impossible for me to get.
If you were to ask others they would say that sometime is wrong with the system. Not sure why I have such good luck at getting these things. I do admit it is pretty funny that Scott has tried for years for this sort of opportunity and has never drawn. He loves it too. He is so proud.
We have been hunting for a dessert big horn sheep down in southern Utah.
We have not found a big ram yet but I can tell you what I have found.
Two weekends with my husband and my kids with my sisters and sister in laws.
I really needed a vacation!
Here are some pic's from our trip.
Can you find the big horn sheep? This is what we are hunting. Not an easy task to find these animals! I really want to know if you can find it! He's in there some where!
Africa
Scott was very lucky this year to take his first hunting trip to South Africa!
He packed his gear and joined his buddies for a 10 day hunt.
They were all VERY excited and I can honestly say I was excited for him.
Scott had a great time while he was in Africa even though he got a little more than he bargained for. On the third day of his hunt he had a major incident.
While trying to get his bow ready and arrows out of the case he unthinkably set the arrows pointing up next to the bench where he then sat down and had the arrow go in to his arm. OUCH!
It was not a pretty sight. He lost a lot of blood. They quickly rushed him to the closest village where a doctor took the arrow out and stitched him up. That's it. That's all they did. If you know my husband you would know that he took it like a man and continued hunting with a riffle for the duration of the trip.
I was counting down the hours back at home until he would be home. 10 days is a long time to be alone with your kids! I couldn't wait till he walked in the door and I could escape to a much deserved nap! Low and behold he walks in that door all bandaged up. He waited to tell me until that moment. So needless to say I did not get that nap. I immediately got on the phone and was trying to get him into a doctor. He was losing feeling in his hand at this point and we knew that this injury was worse than he thought.
He had surgery to try and recover nerve, muscle, and tendon damage. He completely severed one of the two arteries in his arm. That explains why he lost so much blood. They surgery went well. He is doing physical therapy 3 times a week. It takes a lot of time. We are hopeful but know his hand will not be the same as it once was. We are grateful that he is home, that he has his arm, and that I still have my husband. I am finding that we are a pretty strong little family. I just didn't realize how often we would need to use our strength to get through this life!

Last Chance
What feels like ages ago, we took our last chance to put on swim suits and soak up some sun.
This is one of our favorite places to hit up during the summer months.
There was no shortage of fun and lots of smiles!
Sage is an expert when it comes to climbing and playing in the water here. This was the first time Reagan enjoyed it as well! She loved walking in the water and splashing around!
We had some awesome entertainment from the three kiddo's! Brighton, Reagan and Sage rocked out!
Oh how I love my babies in swimsuits! I miss you summer! I can't wait till we find you again!
