We have been partying all week for the kids birthday’s. We spent Presley’s Birthday eve in Heber having Cake and Ice Cream with the family and playing with cousins. She got to open her presents and then we headed to Build a Bear and the Disney store. The build a bear didn’t turn out too good and she got scared of the fluffy filling station. We then spent the afternoon at Grandpa and Grandma Sorensen’s playing with all her new toys. Her favorite was her new Frozen Aunna doll from Aunt Kate.
Davin’s 6th Birthday
For Davin’s Birthday all he had been wanting was a lego party with his friends. Lego movie came out this week so it made him even that much more excited for Lego Party. Davin got to open presents first thing in the morning with me since Steve had already left to work. After I dropped the kids of at grandma’s for a bit and he got to have fun and go choose a present with Aunt Kate. When Steve got done with work he let him open more presents and go to Cabela’s and a few other places before they picked me up from my meetings in Salt Lake. Afterwards we spent our evening at the Lego Store and dinner at Joe’s crab shack. He had a day full of fun and presents.
The lego party for his friends turned out really fun. They built lego cars out of the legos we got at the lego store from the Pick a Brick Wall. They raced them and won trophies and then had cake and ice cream and opened presents.
Yuba and Fairview Canyon
We had been antsy to get the trailer out since we didn’t take it out for memorial day so we headed to Yuba for just a short camp trip with Sam and Chari but it ended up being really windy so we only spent one night there and then we loaded up and went on a joy ride through Manti and up Fairview Canyon. We stayed by Huntington reservoir and had lots of fun fishing and getting dirty.
