Here is the Christmas present Steve gave me early (the shirt, not the dog) . The dog belongs to the family I work for and we're dog-sitting him. His name is Max and he's the cutest dog in the world. Steve gave me the shirt early because I needed something to wear for my ice skating performance and he thought this would work. I love it because it's very comfortable, modest, and cute.
Steve spent a couple hours on Saturday at the sewing machine making this sweet shell bag for all the hypothetical times he goes trap shooting. He says he'll go though, so I believe him.

He made this thing out of canvas and every part of it is double-layered so not only is it indestructible, but it was a pain in the tushy to sew together.

Unused shells go in one pouch (the inner one), spent shells in the other (the outer).

It even has a zipper on the bottom of the outer pouch to dump the spent shells in the trash without having to turn the whole thing over. He did an awesome job on it!

Christmas! (well, almost)

Here is our awesome tree! We got a 6.5' tree with built-in lights for $40! Sweet deal. It's decorated with red and gold ornaments and a gold star.

Here is the beautiful tree skirt Steve's mom made us. It's hard to tell from the picture, but there are gold sparkles all over the light colored material and it looks amazing when the Christmas tree lights are on.

Here is the ornament we got on our honeymoon in San Diego. It's pretty heavy so we had to twist a couple of branches together to hang it on.

And here is the ornament Heidi and here family gave us for our wedding. Aren't we cute? Almost as cute as Casen, but not quite.

Preference

Steve and I went to the Black and White Dance

We thought it would be really nice like the homecoming dance we went to last year, but it wasn't quite what we were hoping. The place was really nice, it was at the Chillon Reception Center in Spanish Fork, but the music was terrible. The DJ just played the top twenty on the radio right now, so we couldn't dance to anything, it was kind of frustrating, but we did manage to waltz and cha cha to a few of them, which was awesome! A girl came up to us and told us that we were really fun to watch dance and she asked us if we were on a ballroom dance team at BYU, that made my entire day!! That means we must be pretty good. We ended up making the night fun, in fact we went on a little horse wagon ride around the block, it came for free with the dance. We also played Chess, because that was the theme of the dance so they had chess boards sitting around the room. Steve won of course, but I held my own for a few minutes. :-)

Kaydence's Baby Blessing

I finally got to hold Casen at the nice dinner after the blessing. Dalene, Markell's mom put the soup inside of these huge hallow pumpkins, it was awesome! I am totally doing that for a party next year!

Here's such a nice four generation picture, it was so neat that Grandpa Barclay and uncle Kenny were able to come.

This has got to be the cutest fireman I have ever seen!

Dad and Casen

Steve and Casen

Lola needed a Halloween outfit so Steve covered up her bad eye and made her a pirate!

Mom and dad's costume was sooo cute, they were a cardiac arrest.

Steve was a Lumber Jack with his fake, cardboard ax. I wore a Mexican dress we got in Tijuana when we went there on our honeymoon.

The proud mother and her baby boy.

Markell looks so good and look how cute Kaydence And Sadie are! The little goldfish and crab.

I think grandpa liked that little girl cuz he had her most of the night. ;-)

Halloween!

Our Neighbors, the Coles came trick or treating on Halloween. They are such a cute family and they had great costumes. I was so excited when they came trick or treating at our house. It was our first trick or treating experience in our own house. :-)

These are our other next door neighbors, Megyn and Ted Reedy and their beautiful daughter Harley that I get to babysit sometimes. We love them. We are constantly at their house or they are at ours, we love it!

Here's Megyn and her cute Cow Harley!

Dog sitting!

We got to babysit Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary Ann's dog Indi for Indiana. He was such a good dog! We missed him when they came and got him.

Date night with Bekah and Pete

Bekah and Pete came over on Saturday night after Steve and I got home from our Ward Chili cook off (By the way, Steve spent all day cooking some awesome chili! which he called the "Man's Chili" It was REALLY GOOD!) So after we ate Steve's awesome chili we came home and carved pumpkins with Bekah and Pete and then just talked and talked, it was sooo fun! Bekah and Pete just live in Draper now, so we can go on double dates a lot now.

These two pumpkins are Bekah and Pete's. Bekah's is on the left, Pete's is on the right.

This is the back of mine and Steve's pumpkins. Mine's on the left, Steve's is on the right.

This is the front of our two pumpkins. Steve's is the cute happy one on the right, mine is the scarry vampire one on the left. It was so usher in the Twilight movie! :-)

It was so much fun to carve pumpkins together. This is one of my new favorite pictures.

And here we are. I love timed cameras.

Meeting Casen

Steve was gone to Arizona for a week doing interviews for an internship this summer. He flew in Saturday night at 9:00 P.M., so earlier that day I went to Logan with Kayla and Carl to see Casen and Scott and Steph. He is such a cute baby, and such a miracle.

Look how cute he is.

I got to hold him!!!

Casen was such a miracle, I am so happy for Scott and Steph.

We're all so proud of Steph and all that she went through during her pregnancy and delivery.

He's already lifting up his head.

Steve and I sent flowers to Steph in the hospital and I had to take a picture of them because they were so beautiful.

Bekah and Pete!

We were very excited that we got to meet up with Bekah and Pete at the BYU football game.

Mom Bentz and Grandma Boy came to visit

On Saturday we went to the Relief Society for Super Saturday. Mom helped me make a beautiful tile plaque of pictures of Christ.

We also made these letters to put on a glass block.

We also went to the BYU Spectacular, which was really incredible.

We had to go to Sub Zero, our favorite ice cream place ever! They make the ice cream right in front of you using liquid nitrogen!

Mom and MaryAnn watching their ice cream being made.

The first thing mom did when she got here was give us presents! This is a book full of Christmas stories, one that we can read everyday in December.

Mom made us this beautiful Christmas decoration.

She also made us this Christmas nativity out of wooden spoons. Pretty much all our decorations come from mom. Thank you mom.

Steph's Baby Shower

I guess mom and dad got a little tuckered out. :-)

John and Markell and their beautiful baby Kaydence

I like the new look Scott, especially with the goatee.

Ben, Brittanee, and McKadee, it was so fun to have them.

Tuesdee is keeping little McKadee warm.

Kassidee is trying on the ribbons from the gifts.

Man my husband is so cute, but so is little Zoee even though she wasn't feeling well.

Are the girls gonna get him?

Brittanee was showing us her cheerleading dances.

Do we look a like? I am constantly told that I look like mom which is a huge compliment.

Grandpa and Markell standing in the "good spot", where the food is.

Grandma and Aunt Nadine just enjoying little Kaydence.

And the beautiful couple that was soon to have their handsome Casen!!!!!
