I’ve been thinking about posting for a while now. I mean, a lot has happened, but now it’s been so long since it has that it just seems silly to post about it so long after the fact. So instead, I’ve compiled a little list of all the things that I would’ve posted about if I was actually good at blogging.
1. Spring semester- ugh. Talk about killer. Imagine here dozens of posts about how I abhor statistics, but love my teacher for patiently spending hours going over my projects with me outside of class.
2. Throw in one about my amazing friend and running-buddy Gary for helping me with a project for 3 long hours WHILE he was sick with the swine flu.
3. Throw in another one about how awesome my immune system is because I spent three hours with someone who had the swine flu and didn’t get a sniffle.
4. Post for a trip to So-Cal for fun times at Magic Mountain and the BEACH!!
5. Post dedicated solely to my love for the beach. Include a sonnet I’ve composed singing praises.
6. A post or two about running out of things to do at work. Shoot me.
7. One more holla for the immune system after that little piggy downed four of my roommates, but I had absolutely no symptoms.
8. Father's day weekend with the fam. Insert pictures of deniece and denephew. They are chronically cute.
9. Haircut! *Picture!* *Emoticons!*
10. Insert a post about my trip to Seattle for the Inaugural Rock ‘N Roll Marathon- riddled with pictures of my cute cute nephew and awesome sister and bro-in-law. More and more pictures with an explanation that our motto for this trip was “A picture is worth a thousand words, and our vacation is worth a thousand pictures!” We reached 978 before the memory card was full.
11. A post about the Fourth of July- my second favorite holiday! Pictures of fireworks that I stole from Google images because I’m awful at remembering to take my camera places with me. Reminiscing about how last year I gave away Fourth of July presents to my friends of illegally-distributed patriotic music and voter registration forms. Ha ha, I’m funny.
12. And finally- a post about how last night my roommate and I had a manicure party. I don’t often paint my fingernails, but we went all out- cut, file, buff, shine and paint. Mine are pink. Barbie pink. Ah-dorable.
