WELCOME TO THE CRIME LOUNGE RECORDS DEPARTMENT!

This series of "records" will be a little different from our usual content as it will concentrate on the Easy/Lounge genre. Hopefully over time it will grow into a comprehensive collection of great instrumentals from the 50's right through to the early 70's, concentrating mainly on the genre's of Easy Listening/Lounge, Space-Age Pop, Exotica etc.
All volumes will come with The Crime Lounge Records custom cover artwork in high-resolution.

INSTRUMENTAL VOICES

The third release from our exclusive little label is a collection of instrumentals containing "vocal soundscapes". Only one track contains any singing, all others are mood creating, soft easy/lounge tunes from the 60's and 70's. At the lounge we don't really go in for singing that much, we would much rather be swept away by some soaring strings or groove to some funky Latin rhythms. This is essentially an instrumental collection but with vocal harmonies used as "instruments" to enhance the mood. As usual this is supplied with high-resolution custon artwork (including disc label)

RAINY AFTERNOONS

Imagine if you will! It's a dull overcast day and you feel in a melancholy mood, full of thoughts, it starts raining outside and you sit there staring through the window at the atmospheric scene!
This album is for just such an occasion and features a selection of dreamy thought-provoking masterpieces from the legends of the Easy/Lounge scene. Save it for that rainy afternoon to get the full effect or if you can't wait, enjoy it now!

CARRY ON IN THE LIBRARY!

The first in our "Crime Lounge Records" series. This collection of albums will all be compiled from the world of Easy-Listening/Lounge, Exotica etc. They will be put together as "mood music" collections hopefully evoking the mood or "Feel" suggested by their titles.

This volume entitled "Carry On in the Library!" has been culled from the world of Music Production Libraries such as kpm, DeWolfe, Chappell etc with a few also taken from Testcard albums. Consider this the soundtrack to a comedy film that was never made as it conjures up images of scantily clad "birds" being persued by lechurous old blokes!

Carry On!
