Summer...where did it go?

We had a great summer despite the heat and not being able to go to Utah for as long as we like to. The kids were enrolled in a different camp every week and we swam a lot. Whichever friends were in town is who we had over to play.
Ainsley had her big dance recital in June and she did so great. She was a little nervous about getting on stage in front of a lot of people, but she did her routine perfect. It was a lot of fun being able to put so much makeup on her and dress her up. She is getting so old so fast.

The 4th of July was spent here in Arizona, our first in four years. I was dreading being here, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. In the am we went to a neighborhood parade in Arcadia, where they threw out a lot of candy (which is the kids favorite part). Later that afternoon we had some good friends over for a bbq and swimming. Once it got dark we did fireworks in the backyard. The kids had a lot of fun being with their friends.

On July 13th we blessed the babies in Utah. I have been dreading the trip with five kids in a car for 12+ hours doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Remarkably our twins did great and so did the other kids. We had a wonderful blessing in Orem with lots of friends and family.

After the blessing we (me and the kids) stayed in Utah for the next week. It was good spending time with my family. The kids enjoyed being around their grandparents and the weather. My dad got a new puppy and Hagen and Ainsley were terrified of it the entire time. Kinley loved her new friend and played with him.

Jason flew in the next week and we went to Island Park with his family. We rented an RV in Idaho Falls and drove up. I am so glad we did it. The kids had so much fun with their cousins and the twins had so many people to hold them. Kinley was covered in dirt from head to toe every day. Hagen got good riding his bike with the boys.

So much fun!!

It has been awhile since I have updated my blog. Life is crazy busy with five little ones running around. I love it so much and don't want my babies to grow up. Here are a few things that we have been doing the past few months.
