Five Months!

She's five months old today!

From back to belly then belly to back, she's rolling all over the place!  Now everyone is on high alert for loose Legos, marbles, pennies, you name it.  Peter really enjoys rolling her back over if she gets stuck, and sometimes he's gentle about it.  Gone are the days of leaving her on the bed or couch without worry of rolling off.

Little Katherine has found her voice and likes to use it.  She's really getting good at getting someone's attention.  She loves to  laugh, especially at Stuart.  I have watched those two babble away at each other, and I'm fairly certain they are plotting against me.  Baby Kate really likes being tickled; the bottoms of her feet especially.  Her big sister Helen can really get her giggling.

Katherine is such a good baby except when we've been apart for too long, which could be five minutes or a couple of hours.  These days, she calls all the shots.

Summer Time When Living is Easy

Five kids including a new baby, baseball (with no pictures to speak of), Brian's job change, summer camps, potty training, sea cadets, cross country, legos, school registration, summer reading, book club, wine club, and time well spent with friends and family has really forced this blog onto the back burner.

Don't give up on me!  I haven't given up on you!
