Go Dilly Dally! (September 2008)

Here are the three Dilly Dally girls. Aunt Jeanne, Mom Lynne, and sister Amber. For those who don't know, these three started a company called Dilly Dally. Their product is called a bibbie. See pictures below. This was at one of their meetings prior to the convention in Vegas. Tyler and I were able to go down to Las Vegas with them. Tyler helped to set up their booth for the show. I wanted to brag and show pictures of the cutest booth there. It turned out really great! I am so excited and wanted them to know I am proud of their hard work. Almost a member of CERT - September 2008

One of my classes this semester (my last semester. . hallelujah) is disaster nursing. One of the objectives of this class is to become a member of CERT. CERT stands for Community Emergency Response Team. The CERT Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area. This program has become really big since 9/11. I have several clinicals in which I will get to use a fire extinguisher to put out a real fire, learn to condemn buildings, learn how to triage people in the community in the event of a disaster, and basically learn how to be in charge if their was a disaster. It is actually kind of scary. Well, this last Saturday at my first clinical we learned all about safety and along with that comes safety gear. So, I thought that I would show you my freakin sweet safety gear.

Thats right, I am wearing gloves, safety goggles, a vest (is it really that obvious) and a pretty green hard hat. I left off the mask. I better get used to wearing this stuff because I will always have it on at my clinicals.

When I got home I put it on and ran in the house yelling "I am a member of CERT and I am here to help you!!" We learned that you are supposed to yell that if there was a disaster so that people would know who you were. Tyler really liked it! I know, I am a total dork!! :)

Chase and Ashton came to play!! Summer 2008

Chase and Ashton came and played with Aunt Erica all day long. It was by far one of the most fun days I have had in a long time. I learned many things at the park. Chase can cross the monkey bars all by himself. I really was impressed. And Ashie showed me that he can poop in the toilet. Luckily there was a bathroom at the park. He couldn't wait to go out and tell Chase of his success. I loved every minute with them!!

When Chase and Ashton got to my house of course they asked where all of the toys were. Aunt Erica is pretty lame because I had absolutely no toys. So, we made a little trip to the dollar store and found the perfect thing to play with. . .trains!

The boys were so great about getting in the bath. We got them in their jammies ready for Tris to pick them up.

Erica's 25th Birthday!! (August 2008)

Every year I start off my birthday with good old Cream of Weber chocolate milk. Tyler is so good to always remember and have it in the fridge waiting for me on my birthday morning. Yummy!










We started off the morning hitting a bucket of balls then headed to the pool to get some sun!

Tyler's sister Jenny made me this amazing cake for my birthday. she is so good to me. Isn't it spectacular. I was excited to say the least.

Sunset Beach North Carolina 2008

Tyler and I went to the beach this summer with his parents and sister Jenny. We also went with a family that he grew up with there named the Siggs. It was the most relaxing, fun week! There is nothing better than swimming in the ocean, playing in the sand, and reading all day long. It was the best!!




















I love this picture of Tyler and his Dad playing catch. I don't know why, but I love to just watch them throw the ball back and forth. Maybe because I am such a girl and can't throw the ball very well.

Tyler and his MANY skills! (February 2008)

Tyler and his partner Brock, bought a horse trailor. The trailor was completely empty inside when they bought it. What they did was convert the trailor to have living quarters in it. The back portion of the trailor houses four horses. There is a small tack shed in between then it leads into the living quarters. It is absolutely amazing. Check out these pictures.
