HMS E56 oli Britannian kuninkaallisen laivaston E-luokan sukellusvene ensimmäisessä maailmansodassa.
Valmistus

Alus tilattiin vuoden 1914 sodanajan hätäohjelmassa Dumbartonista William Denny and Brothersilta, jossa köli laskettiin joulukuussa 1914. Alus laskettiin vesille 19. kesäkuuta 1916 ja valmistui 8. elokuuta.[1]
Palvelus
