Tulang jari jempol

Dalam anatomi manusia, ibu jari atau jempol adalah salah satu jari pada tangan. Jempol berbeda dengan keempat jari lainnya karena menghadap ke arah yang berbeda, memiliki lebih sedikit buku jari, dan lebih pendek. Jempol dapat ditekuk ke bagian dalam, ke arah jemari lainnya, dan dapat dipergunakan untuk memegang suatu benda dengan menekannya ke bagian tangan atau jemari lain.
