The 2026 OLA Compliance University was held in Washington, DC on July 22-23. This year’s agenda was the deepest bench of legal talent we have ever assembled, bringing a record 40 speakers representing over a dozen of the nation’s leading law firms.  It was two days of guidance from the attorneys who actually litigate, negotiate, and advise on the issues defining online lending right now. The sessions dug into DIDMCA opt-outs, federal preemption, the new Nacha rules, AI-driven fraud, fair lending and disparate impact, TCPA, AML, bank-fintech partnerships, and California’s new Chopra-led BCSA super-agency, and more.  Participants also took part in a live, high-stakes data-breach tabletop exercise worked through in real time.
