Co-founded in 2015 by Barry Weiss and based in New York City, RECORDS is a JV label with Sony
Music, which saw early success with their first two signings, platinum selling singer / songwriter,
Noah Cyrus and legendary hip-hop icon, Nelly. RECORDS is also home to 24kGoldn (“Mood”)
and Lennon Stella. RECORDS Nashville, now in its sixth year, is the Nashville-based country
imprint of the JV. Since joining forces with Sony, RECORDS has built a diverse roster of
burgeoning young artists, including Country radio star George Birge, 18-year-old
singer-songwriter, Ty Myers, rising country music artist Emily Ann Roberts and breaking global
pop star Slayyyter amongst others.
