without farming anything, I got 1050. 1750 is a pretty good achievement!

Having played Darwinia for years on and off (I still have the lurid green CD and case on the bookshelf), I decided to kill some time and see if I can max out Escort. So far I'm at around 6,400 in the safe zone, and still no sign of anything slowing down. I was expecting issues with stuttering, as my old system running the original struggled once I got over 1000.

Was something changed with either engineer speed and/or virii speed? I remember farming them with engineers and bringing them back for Darwinians to massacre, when I try now the virii are faster than the engineers.
