Substitutes play a crucial role in the day-to-day functioning of a school district. Whether filling in during professional training sessions for regular educators or managing extended absences, the role of a substitute is highly esteemed within the Ankeny Schools community. Kelly Education is honored to collaborate with the Ankeny School District to supply outstanding substitutes. You’ll have the flexibility to choose your preferred school building, opt for consistent daily work throughout the school week, or design a flexible schedule that accommodates your other life commitments. For educators wanting to serve as substitute teachers at ACSD, we offer the most competitive pay in the area:
- Long Term Substitutes: $250.00 (11 days and beyond, including long term nurses)
- Teacher Substitute: $170 per day
- Building Teacher Substitute: $175 per day
- Paraprofessional Substitute: $17.25 an hour
