In partnership with our groups, the Nordic Caucus, DPLST, ETHICS, HIST, and THEORY, we are thrilled to announce our Call for Proposals for the ISA Reykjavík 2027 at the University of Iceland, Reykjavík, Iceland! We invite proposals that consider how international studies can illuminate, critique, and guide a changing world. As climate change accelerates, international organizations face unprecedented strains, and geopolitical rivalries intensify, the foundations of global order are shifting beneath us. From Iceland, at the crossroads of Europe, North America, and the Arctic, we invite work that explores these transformations across disciplinary, theoretical, and methodological divides, with particular attention to the intersections of environmental change, peace, security, diplomacy, international organizations, and global governance. The proposal submission deadline is October 23, 2026.
