Andreas Jaeger has announced the availability of the second release candidate for SUSE Linux 10.1, the 14th public test release since the beginning of the SUSE 10.1 development process in September 2005: "I'm glad to announce SUSE Linux 10.1 Codename 'Agama Lizard' RC2. We have fixed the majority of bugs from RC1 and will release an RC3 next week." As has become customary, the release announcement contains no information about the changes in this release. Unlike all previous SUSE 10.1 development builds, full installation discs have not been provided this time; instead, testers will need to download ISO images for RC1, install RC1, then download delta images for RC2 and merge them with the 'applydeltaiso' command.
