CAS and San Francisco By the Bay

This stamp was made for CAS.  If you just keep it simple, it'll let your card show its beauty.   I'd love to see this stamp used in other ways too.  You wonderful creators of magic on cards will be able to run with this stamp.  And I want to see what you do!  As soon as I saw this in the Summer Hero Arts Catalog, I knew I wanted this stamp.  How could I not?  I may not be a home grown Californian, but I was transplanted when I was 16 and wouldn't live anywhere else.  Why San Francisco?  It's a two-hour drive down to THE CITY and Hero Arts too.

You know when you buy a stamp and have the rubber almost melting in your hands because you're not letting it go?  AND THEN... You think to yourself, "What am I going to do with it?  You have not a clue in your head.  Well, for sure, that did NOT happen with this stamp.  I just wanted to use a little watercolor, some spatter and just play.  I figured, if any came out half decent, that was a plus.  Maybe that was the way to go, because, even the cards in back are not too bad.   I hope you try your hand on this or any of the other new city, plus Hawaii & Texas state stamps.

Destination San Francisco has been restocked just for you.
I had picked up a splatter brush from my local stamp shop, which I love - see here

Good Morning AGAIN!

I have some happy news to tell you about.  Please visit a2z Scrapbooking and you'll see what I mean.  But to give you a taste of what's in store for you.  I made a card to celebrate.  I have had a terrible time trying to photograph this card.  I finally waited for the sun to come up and took outside this morning.  It's going to be 107 so  this morning is cooler, but not for long  It's not the best shot, but I need to leave for work.

I used a Hero Arts die-cut here and then popped an "hello" from the Hero Arts Butterfly and Flower clear set.  I'm growing hearts for the fourth of July!  The red looks like a brushed suede.

Be happy and celebrate.
