Dad’s Birthday/Fathers Day

Sometimes when I was growing up and wanted something really expensive, my dad would say “money doesn’t grow on trees.” So we thought it would be fun to prove him differently and all of us went in on a money tree for Dad. He really liked it.

Over 30 years ago my mom made this little felt tree for my brother Dan and sent it to him when he was on his mission in New Zealand. We thought it would be fun to give it to him again filled with gifts from all of his nieces and nephews. He seemed pretty excited about it. Dan has always given gifts to everyone. At Christmastime we call him Danta because he is so generous!
